I call it: The BillyBob scrOG.

check out the progress in the scrog. this shit is nuts how they grow along the screen. i think the are about a week into flowering. 8 strawberry cough girls, 4 blueberry girls under 1200 watts of hps and my dinky little 250mh in the middle. thanks for everyone who keeps up with my random updates.

yesterday i trimmed like 5 lbs of fan leaves off. i opened up the canopy so much and so many new colasites are now ganna hit the screen and become juicy spears. im really exctied about this screen. the whole thing is ganna be FULL of nugs.

its crazy to see the main stem horizontal instead of vertical. u can really see it in the last pic of that one plant how long i let them veg into the screen. lots more trimming to do. once week 2 hits im trimming everything underneath. branches, budsites, leaves everything. i just want bare tree trunks focusing on the colas getting all the light up to. oh yea i accidentally broke one of the tops of the blueberry girls when i was traing last night or today. it still looks good though, its amazing how these plants heal themselves after a break in the stem. ive really noticed it cause ive broken a few branches training everyday. i sometimes get in a rush traiing them cause it takes constant work, its like weaving a living wicker basket that is eventually ganna house a boatload of nug. its so much fun!

thank you for the kind words blueberry. i spent alot of time and money to get my setup how i like it now. i just kinda want to expand a little. hopefully can find a new place to soon. but thanks for the compliments, i only had 3 girls on my last grow from some shitty seeds under those lights. got 3 oz per plant but im really trying to up myself this time.

I am wanting to do the same SCROG that you are doing. That is my plan from day 1. how long do you let you plants veg for? Do you just let it go till it's all filled out?? Also my other issue will be watering. If you take a look at my grow journal you will see that I am doing manual watering. I would like to get 3 oz's also per plant if possible but I am doing my veg and flowering with a 400w HPS bulb. Can you possibly give me some hints plz?? HAPPY NEW YEAR BTW!!

i am growing in a 12 site 2gallon bucket hydroponic flood and drain system. lol sounds so technical. basically theres a 3.5 gallon brain of the operation with a timer that connects to the 2 pumps. one pump is in the 55 gallon res and the other is in the controller. when it floods, the pump in the tank floods the controller and gravity feeds the water out to all the plants. when it drains the pump in the controller feeds back to the tank and gravity pulls the water out of the medium, thus drawing fresh new o2 into the root area. anyways i let my plants veg for about 3 1/2 -4 weeks in the screen. that means they were just hitting the bottom of the screen 4 weeks ago and they are 6 weeks old. how big of pots are you using?

I am using I thing 5 gallon pots. So do you let your plants flower once the hit the screen or do you let it veg threw the screen a bit then flower? Did you clip the tops also? Going to hit the sac so I will look up your reply in the morning. My plants right now are about 3 weeks old. but were only under the HPS light for like a week and a half to 2 weeks. I also have my plants about 20inches from the light.

they will get big in 5 gallon pots. i let them veg for 4 weeks in the screen. like i weaved branches everyday into the screen for 4 weeks. i have about another week and a half of weaving. i just flipped the lights about a week ago. and yes i topped every plant. u want to promote as much branching as possible in a scrog.

it is crazy isnt it chronicle! its been blowing my mind how the plant can transform into such an ivy-like vine with just a little trimming and training. im really really pleased with the scrog. i think this is really going to produce some weight in such a small area. i love how there are all the different ways to grow too. i figured id give scrog a shot and if it doesnt lead to a prosperous road i will try something else. but i think i found the technique i like.

u gunna flower soon? i heard you're supposed to only fill the screen 60-70% and then flower cause they grow so much faster and bigger during flower than veg... and lots of people talk about how big of a pain in the ass it is if you get a scrog that is over grown.

i started flowering 1 week ago. when the screen was 50-60% full. i think i flipped it at the perfect time. the solution to a crowded scrog is bonsai snips lol.
