Why are you adding red to the 4000K if you find it gives the best results (assuming that adding red light will decrease the color temperature)? Just curious. if you have some more comments on the differences we all would be interested I think.
I added the reds to my entire 4 x16 area, not just around the 4000k fixture, I felt the room could use some red in a sea of mixed white spectrum,as far as the plants flourishing under the 4000k, I can’t see how the added red could hurt the quality or yield overall, lots of light manufacturers are incorporating the 660nm into the fixtures..

4k has higher output so you are starting with more photons that probably has a much bigger impact than the slight spectrum difference

I'd like to see an all HLG side by side based on spectrum. 3000k, 4000k, 5000k, and an Rspec. I've never been convinced that adding red to these boards amounts to anything. I want to see results proving their worth, not just supposition based on what might be. And anecdotal "evidence" is mostly useless. Everytime a new light comes out someone claims "its SO much better than the old light, and the old light was great" ....... yeah right your word is not proof of anything. SHOW ME the difference. Give me not just final weight ( which in it self is meaning less unless a large number of plants are grown at one time ). Get some buds tested, etc. Obviously, your average home grower won't be able to do this, so its not ;likely to happen.

Yeah but who the fuck cares about the trolls? They are trolls because their mouths run but nothing but shit comes out. If they had something worth paying attention to, someone might actually listen.........

There was a ton of people shivering and quivering. You didn't see that? It was a fucking mess in here. Trolls had to troll harder, non trolls had to go into troll mode, super troll mode was reached at some points.

Thank you! Not quite done, just had a busy wknd. There is deffinetly more that the good folks here deserve to know.
HGL had asked me to be fully transparent throughout. Whether it be the growth traits, final yield, quality, as well as anything & everything about the new XB Boards in which i have x6 in my possession to test & share my findings or do as i please for i did pay for them.
Same will be done for HLG bush but not so much the TRINITY until i can inform you about the final model.
One thing i can say now that i think is VERY IMPORTANT for poeple to know is that the HGL 90 day money back Gauruntee only applies to one fixture. So of you decide to buy a room full or tent based on Claims made by the company or others results (whatever) then be advised.
IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED THEN ONLY ONE BOARD WILL BE RETURNED & YOU WILL PAY SHIPPING.
They are protypes being sold so if a wire comes disconnected or there is a faulty hopefully HGL recognizes that as not your fault. HOPEFULLY.
Im here for honesty reasons only.

Is there any difference in the smoke?
Yes, HGL Is Tier 5 , HLG is Tier 1.
400 difference in value getting lucky cuz of drought.
Just about everything below 8" from the top was popcorn i for once included into the final #'s only cuz it went. Otherwise it would've went to oil & not been submitted as a total like that. The tops were very Sparse, loose n Fluffinbudder. Very little color, frost & terps in comparison.
As you all know HLG got as many natural advantages as possible. Meaning they only made sense not that i was biased toward them. Like the veg plant getting much higher par.
I followed the recomended height of 1" like an idiot & had Absolutely only 50% coverage. That too caused burnt leaves on the edges.
The Trinity was not use as recommended in flower as the plant was able to handle it @ 20-22" & still get uniform coverage rather then the 30" recommended hieght.
Basically the #'s on HGL are with the 65% popcorn & Fluffintops included.
HLG's had very little popcorn from down low that was not included as the rest was hard nug & did not wanna spoil the appeal with a few popcorns.
I haven't seen a lack of bud development like that since my Hydroponics Hut (almost same spectrum).

This is a dumb question and I think your explanation covers it but want to be sure im not misunderstanding
