Yes, HGL Is Tier 5 , HLG is Tier 1.
400 difference in value getting lucky cuz of drought.
Just about everything below 8" from the top was popcorn i for once included into the final #'s only cuz it went. Otherwise it would've went to oil & not been submitted as a total like that. The tops were very Sparse, loose n Fluffinbudder. Very little color, frost & terps in comparison.
As you all know HLG got as many natural advantages as possible. Meaning they only made sense not that i was biased toward them. Like the veg plant getting much higher par.
I followed the recomended height of 1" like an idiot & had Absolutely only 50% coverage. That too caused burnt leaves on the edges.
The Trinity was not use as recommended in flower as the plant was able to handle it @ 20-22" & still get uniform coverage rather then the 30" recommended hieght.
Basically the #'s on HGL are with the 65% popcorn & Fluffintops included.
HLG's had very little popcorn from down low that was not included as the rest was hard nug & did not wanna spoil the appeal with a few popcorns.
I haven't seen a lack of bud development like that since my Hydroponics Hut (almost same spectrum).
Oh man bummer what a surprise does that mean NASA is wrong?!.....wait that's not a surprise that's what everyone knew would happen

99% the same light. no magic sauce.
Nothing Magic but how she got me to do this to begin with. Cast a spell or something. Lol! Naw, my own fault cuz i had little Burple experience & so wanted to believe her claims to be even 1/4 true.

This is a dumb question and I think your explanation covers it but want to be sure im not misunderstanding

Tier 1 is better than tier 5?
Tier 5 is the bottom of the barrel dude. FluffinBudder cuz id use it for butter not even oil.

Have boards to show True PPFD not hers or BigPerm. Lmfao!
Can't afford losses to use again, so no XB side by side as i posted i might yesterday.

Damn really?lol

So hgl grew faster, larger, healthier(By photos any way)but gave a less than desirable product when compared to the other test plant?mmm........well ain't some shit lol.

You should put some of those tier 5 nugs in like the frostiest buds thread so we can see how many "damn that's that fire" comments lol

the HGL 90 day money back Gauruntee only applies to one fixture. So of you decide to buy a room full or tent based on Claims made by the company or others results (whatever) then be advised.
IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED THEN ONLY ONE BOARD WILL BE RETURNED & YOU WILL PAY SHIPPING.
.
For anyone in a different country or state than Hybrid, check your local consumer laws because that's illegal in allot of countries and any products sold into a country has to abide by those countries consumer laws. If your state or country has not much protection there then make sure u pay with a Credit Card. Charge backs are easy and scammy wont be fighting a Credit card provider.

Well at least you can use the HGL's for veg lights and leave flower to the big boys.

And sorry if I was hard on you but being an OG I've seen her claims come up every couple of years in 2008 since IC mag.
I would not go that far. Using them for veg only made things worse. Sure, it was easier for me to care for but everyday that goes by in veg is another creating very long intermodal spacing, which for me left not much meat, few & far between fluffy buds.
She claims they'll only show x3 the yeilds of hps or the competition if you clone from her light out. Yeah right. Every hour it gets worse. I use only 1 of the 6 boards to veg & its used to extend short plants on 2 -3 day cycles to keep all plants an even size for deserving side by sides.
Her plant was over the 4x4 practically, & her lights barely covered 1/2 of that space. All stick & fluffinbudder. Can't tell till dry so I kept my mouth shut.
Trinity had the ability to cover a 4.5x4.5 w/ respectable #'s & can be used as low as 20" but thats pushing the plant. Be ready if you plan on doing that.
My 140w XB's run 225-233w each. Not seeing a 2.25 umol/j with my Eyechrometer. Just a very hot board with melting/broken wires at the junction.
Here is a TRUE reading at 12" on the XB-140. 20190917_042139.jpg

That's why I generally recommend 30" for the trinity. Most growers will do well at that height. Yes 20" is better overall in flower over anything under a 5x5 area but if you aren't on top of your game things can go south quickly. What I generally have seen with the 550s is people starting at the recommended 24" thier first grow or two but by the end of the first year they are running 16-18" in flower. I personally would rather recommend slightly less intensity than too much.

The final production units will also contain some 470nm as well. We also have a UV bar coming out soon. I'm pretty sure you'll wanna try one. The guys that are running them now absolutely love them.

I'd like to see an all HLG side by side based on spectrum. 3000k, 4000k, 5000k, and an Rspec. I've never been convinced that adding red to these boards amounts to anything. I want to see results proving their worth, not just supposition based on what might be. And anecdotal "evidence" is mostly useless. Everytime a new light comes out someone claims "its SO much better than the old light, and the old light was great" ....... yeah right your word is not proof of anything. SHOW ME the difference. Give me not just final weight ( which in it self is meaning less unless a large number of plants are grown at one time ). Get some buds tested, etc. Obviously, your average home grower won't be able to do this, so its not ;likely to happen.

We had the R-spec in testing for over a year before release. From our testing, the yields were higher. Most noticed a bit more fox tailing in a good kinda way and slightly more color expression. The jump in efficacy was what we liked most. If I was on a budget 3k V1 288s would be my go too in honesty. We had one of our customers just win a cannabis cup in Ok with bud grown under the V2 3k spectrum. If I had v1 or v2 3k I wouldn't upgrade and I've told several customers who've called and asked the same. I would add the Uv supplement if I wanted to spend more money on lighting looking for an edge. 99% of growers would do better spending any future money on dialing in their environment.
