20190507_225036.jpg 20190507_225042.jpg And 2 HeavyDutyFruity x SweetTooth.20190507_225248.jpg 20190507_225238.jpg These plants are dry in the pics but are pretty even in all ways. They are same cut from same mom taken on the same day. They all just started getting nutrients besides CloneX or water & are looking to get growing.
New x3 coat paint job with white Panda divider. 20190508_001604.jpg Each side being an even 5'3" x 4'3"20190508_001220.jpg 20190508_001522.jpg 18" manufacturer recommended growing height. 20190508_001408.jpg Am currently Running the QB Trinity around 36" Using a 320w power draw. 20190507_224058.jpg Goes up to 528w & all the way down to 202w. That's using the screw on the driver. Im running the Trinity Protype here guys. Not the actual production model. HLG said that will be different with more Beef & a few other things. But the proto will emit the same light.
He asked to wait till this wknd to show it awaiting Patent to go through even though its the proto.

Is it straight to flower or is there a veg period hybridway?
Yes, aprox one mo left of veg. Transplanting to 3's shortly.
Do you want questions here or would you like to start a new thread for the questions as not to clog this thread up ?
Questions here are fine, commentary about anything not directly pertaining to the grow, not so much. If a comment is irrelevant to the grow id luke it to not be posted here. Thank you for asking! Discussion should take place on the original shot up thread pls. That way i know where to go to read peoples opinions n such.
Why do you have different height measurements for each brand?

The HGL you did a 17”, 2 foot

HLG you did 35” and 32”

Makes no sense
I am to follow manufacturers reccomendations. Although 18" was causing light stress on them, preventing growth, so they are at 2' now & plants are happy. I will try to lower closer to 18" as the plants toughen up.
The hgl 2' readings are similiar to the hlg 36" readings.
Why do you need to run the blurples 132 watts harder and at almost half the distance do they lack in intensity or penetration?
X3 lights is needed to cover those plants, happens to be 475 w.
The Trinity covers all the plants with 320w @ the manufactures recommended height of 30-36".
Will have a tape measure out on them later today.

Hang height and light engine spacing can change yield/watt,.. but yield/μmol will be less affected by these variables.

(Total grams of cannibinoids) / (cummalitive μmol of DLI including veg).
^^If this metric were being measured, the community could glean a benefit of one SPD over another, regardless of chip manufacturer, or flux binning, or light engine spacing, ect. A bit ahead of where we're at, but itd be sweet to have the cannibinoid % tested (maybe the manufacturers would throw down on it).

That's all I wanted to say, I'll be watching whatever the method ends up being, keep it up! :bigjoint:

This is how the girls for each side are today.
32" centered (no lenses)
HLG20190508_183318.jpg 20190508_183310.jpg HGL (each plant 24" hight, centered under a 84x w/ lenses x3 & overlapping light pattern)20190508_183122.jpg 20190508_183110.jpg
Plants on both sides appear happy here. Im sure as they become more acclimated they will take more just as a good girl should.

Id love to get the thc, cbd,n, cannabinoid test done. There is a timelapse camera HGL sent that ill be setting up asap.
Rn they are pretty even par but that will change soon because i am to follow the recommendations of the manufacturers.
Who knows, maybe Stephen will ask fir a 750 umol reading on his veg plants to? Only time will tell. Today however, they will be growing at equal umols centered. Tom is another story .
