I generally don't like "leafing" my girls unless I have extreme RH levels..............I will however give them a slight lollipop/ soil top dress when the room gets cold later....

You do remember my last run with the panel at 15 inches with the 28watts grow phase??I was afraid of the large wattage increase this early.....I have dropped it to the inda-gro height ( 5 inches above the cheese) today......if the tops bleach(highly doubtful) I'm blaming you........

Under these low wattage panels, I wouldn't expect anything but "shade adapted" plants IMO..........yes one may be absorbing a better "quality" light.....hmmmmm

The Cheese Dreams should sex within the next 5 days. If you can't tell by then, they are probably girls. Also, if you want the best yield out of those 2 gallons, I suggest that you clean out any shaded growth and remove any unnecessary fan leaves. Cheese Dreams is a freak early in flowering and does an extreme stretch for the first week then stops, usually only 6 inches or so. They look extremely healthy! No matter what you do I'm sure you're going to love these.

It was a coin flip for me on which way to go between Inda-gro and Area 51 but after a 45 minute conversation with Daryle today I'm going Inda-gro as soon as I can save up the extra money.

some points to the hans-panel:
all numbers are estimated over my big thumb

settings and distance

G: 28W; 22% blue - 78% red
M: 43W; 13% blue - 87% red
F: 56W; 10% blue - 90% red
Ratio for all is mostly the same as "KNNA" told us years ago.

I agree about the adding two WW leds in the center of the panel @123 degree angles/ Hans says it "loses" it's efficiency

adding two WW leds will gives as 2%-4% in the green-yellow range (500-600nm), thats all.and thats not much. at 10% we are in the game.

I think you'll like your decision........which ever way you go, their is a learning curve to each tech...won't hit great GPW until you've done a couple rounds with it.....happy shopping..

yep three settings(check the pics on the first post) gotta unscrew a jumper each time(sucks)......have used the final flower setting(65w) straight through this grow cause of lazyness and keeping the wattage's close......don't know how the specific quote's work either lol/ i'm still using the whole quotes too!

Last cheesedream left and it's stinking/ I believe it will go fem.....So I VLST'd the kid with a bent loop stake and leaf/branch tucked it for an even canopy....will see about the stretch.....gonna have the hans panel for itself..

Inda-gro par 100 (105w)...PS's anubis (fem) @ day 19 of veg:

....no smell/no sign of sex yet under the 14/10 schedule.....I think they will fit well with the inda due to their small size........their growth pattern tells me not to mess with them at all/ will let them go naturally; no training........maybe

14/10 light schedule till day 30...getting to the fun part, so let's see what these low powered panels can do in flower..........obviously the comparison won't work out with an odd # of plants////just wanna grow some dank at this point.......be safe and happy growing

From what I can see, it appears that the primary leaves under Hans' light are much bigger and probably thicker. Not a good sign of proper spectral balance, but then I wrote him several times during prototype to put some whites in it: he didn't want to consider it. Hopefully your AB test will help him see the light.

The good news is you can easily supplement Hans' light using my DIY panel- a couple 2 bulb vanities with CWs or NWs, maybe some Y adapters but I doubt you need them for supplementing

Forget it, Hans won"t listen.....gave the same advice/ doesn't seem to like his design being criticized.........well it's gonna take somebody to copy his simple industrial design and add a couple cree xp-e WW for that far red and "balancing" of the spec......Make the panel dimensions larger , same diode spacing, wattage increase to 150w-170w, passive cooling and a dimmable remote driver====WINNER..............hmmm "PSUAGRO PANEL" and make some serious $$$$$$$$$$ lol

........still no sign of sex! weird..........healthy kid and will probably add another bent loop stake for more tie down points.........14/10 light schedule and will lower it too 13/11 on day 30 and it will remain so throughout flower - haven't tried this shit in awhile.....will see

PS's anubis (fem) @ day 21 since germ.....only one of them(squatty bitch) has been under the inda-gro100 since the start(105watts):

....both fems have femmed........may train the lanky bitch down as she continues to stretch at double her sister's rate.....that doesn't play nice with a horizontal bulb layout/reflector......still find them unusually small for this strain..........

.....the stretchy bitch was annoying me with her growth pattern so I vlsd'd her with a bent loop stake yesterday/ took it well .............the other one seems content on doing nothing...........very disappointed by this strain so far/ have no idea what's stunting them..

the panels are at even height's from the canopy/ will lower the light schedule for the last time to 13/11 today as we start flowering phase...........be safe and happy growing RIU....

I have no problems with the cheese"s growth(actually impressed). The Anubis kids are small for their strain, not in general I guess(maybe a bit dramatic).....will find out, I've PM'd some pics too a grower who knows this strain quite well on another forum..........Have no idea on height recommendations from the manufacturer/ I'm just reading the kid's signs...........seem happy.
