Nope .....not unless your a die-hard organic grower that uses teas for everything......I use plant magic cal/mag every feed and it's never gave me any concerns(no need to flush)tast is 100%....I've recently switched to a cal/mag called DENSITY it has more trace elements in it but this is my first grow using it and so far it's looking good.....Yea the product you have will be fine......your plants r looking well the pistils you r quickly seeing r because of the amount of time you vegged.......that plants going to be massive by the time it's done mate so make sure your space is big enuff for it.......:weed:.......

I am nearly done saving for the kit I want, hopefully 1.2x1.2x2 meters should be enough! Will give a dose of calmag tomorrow or Friday depending on how dry my soil is!

Like I've mentioned before.....keep all your nuits to a minimum.....including the cal/mag 1ml per ltr is usually enuff and with a pot your size 2litres of water should suffice......

Also my topmax has separated into two layers, is it off? It's a pretty old bottle!! :/

So the car has cost me all my disposable income for the month and a little bit more :( I have 20 days until I can afford the hps, tent and carbon filter which is a tad annoying. I'm hoping the final four weeks under a decent light will make a good difference to yeild still. Will be ordering some seeds from sannies as soon as the tent is up and running to veg under the cfl to begin my perpetual grow. all speed ahead!!! :)

Once my tent arrives I shall be ~4 months away from a monthly harvest with a 2 month veg time, should be sufficient supply for me and my girlfriend! I'll be honest even if my harvest is poor Its still going to be worth it to me. I've gained so much valuable experience already, great info from a great cocommunity and a new constructive hobby that has so many interesting elements and variables aswell as saving me £££
Big love RUI!!!!!!

Hello everybody! The stretch continues, to everyone that said if I wasn't burning leaves with the cfl then it isn't close enough, well I woke up to burnt leaves touching the bulb :) woo? It's not so bad. Will be growing some of sannies seeds for my perpetual but to fill in space in the mean time will be doing an experiment. Will be growing an afghan kush on 12/12 from seed under the 600w and afghan kush ryder, both from world of seeds under 8hours of the 600 hps, 8 hours under 300 cfl and 8 hours darkness. It's journal can be found here https://www.rollitup.org/t/12-12-from-seed-vs-autoflower-experiment.887100/#post-11988370. Big love!

DSC_0245.jpg The stretch continues...
Hairing up nicely ;) I cut some of the lower branches off that were stunted and receiving little light so the plant focuses on the tops. Feedback appreciated as this is all new to me!

Yea I TOTALLY agree with roobarb Sannies seeds r EXCELLENT I'm actually grow in his herijuana at the moment with his madberry asswell ......proper genetics.......and his prices r how they should be.....very reasonable......some seed companies r a pure ripoff....if I were you that's defo wot I would be going for ....easy to grow, great smoke, and she yields well by the way I run £5 timers from asda and their running perfect....I've had the more expensive one's but they burnt out in a couple of weeks.....digital 10day timer ....works for me with several 600 digi ballast...
I think you are gambling there mate.
I would defo use a contacter on your lights, you only need a fault and you risk a fire..
I think you have been lucky so far.
If you closed your eyes and then ran across a busy road, if you didnt get hit by a vehicle, would you consider your self lucky? or would you say this is a safe was to cross as you have done it and been ok?

Thankyou for your genuine concern! I'm now using a foxhunter brand timer especially made for growlights. Cost me £17 but you can't put a price on safety.
