Hi all!
I have been lurking for a while but this is my first post/grow. The community in general seems alot more chill and helpful than other websites around and I really hope you guys help me out and are patient with my rookie mistakes.
Anyway, to the plant. This plant was grown from a bag seed in early March under natural light on an east facing dappled bathroom windowsill. I grew it not for any smoke but merely as a house plant as I love how weed plants look. I have kept it to a small pot to keep the plant small and discrete and that's how it's been for 6 months.
Now she is a small but bushy plant that looks very indica to me and gives of a lovely cheesey smell. I say she because I believe to have spotted female flowers now. I decided not to waste the opportunity and finish her off under a 300w dual spectrum cfl which is due to arrive any day now. The plan is to repot her into a much larger air pot when I the light arrives. This is a seriously budget grow, I have paid only for the light and fitting so far and would be happy to yield a quarter to be honest. I wont be attempting a proper grow (hps, genetics, carbon filter, expensive medium /nutrients) until I move after Xmas. I will update when the light arrives and I repot her. Please do ask questions, criticise constructively and help me along. I'm excited to get started!!

So my light has arrived, and the plant has been repotted into a larger pot. Plain old compost was used. She has been moved into my cupboard, watered with generic plant food at 75% strength (ppk 3.5-3.5-3.5) and began 24 hour light in an attempt to revert to veg as their are some small white hairs. Is this possible? A friend is donating me an air pot and some advanced nutrients in a week. Can anyone suggest some purchases to help improve this grow with a budget of around £30 this month? Will add photos now :)

Thanks for the input dcheald! It has just gone under light today and was planning 24/0 because I'm lazy as fuck. Why would 16/8 be a better idea? Thanks again :)

Just a quick update, Have been on amazon and have decided to do some more spending. On the way I now also have a timer for the light and have taken dcheald's advice and switched to 18/6. Also coming I have a desktop fan to go in the cupboard and some biobizz bloom nutrients. Thinking of getting some canna terra soil to go with the airpots when they arrive although not fully convinced it's a worth while investment yet. Finally I have been donated a critical kush seed which I may or may not veg and flower along side my current plant. Would a 300w cfl manage two plants in my set up? TThanks!!!

18/6 - 18 hours on 6 off for Veg and 12/12 for Flowering and ye I think a 300w will be good for try get a dual spectrum tho if your planning to use it to flower

Have bought a reflector now although is not due to arrive for a week. I decided also to pinch the tops out of the plant where I could see pistils to help her get bushier aswell as hopefully help switch her back to veg faster. New growth from the topped sites has been rapid and looks healthy bar a few mutant leaves. I have been offered a fresian dew auto seed so now I'm stuck between critical kush (photo) by barney's farm or fresian dew (auto) by Dutch passion. Any suggestions? Thanks for taking the time to view my journal and I encourage feedback!

Microupdate, my friend has germinated the fresian dew for me THEN told me so Dutch passion it is. Will update with pics when it's more interesting than a seed floating in a glass of water :D

Have moved the light up 3" and the top leaves are recovering :) here's some more photos to show how fast she's coming along. The bottom photo is her 5 months old with no direct sunlight. Ever. The top photo is the same plant after a nice repot and 4 days under cfl. It's nice to see positive results. Feedback is MASSIVELY appreciated :)DSC_0164.jpgDSC_0148.jpg

DSC_0168.jpg DSC_0169.jpg Day 10 under light.
Reflector has arrived but I forgot to get a plug adapter nescisarry for a CFL so I'm unable to hang it properly for now (adapter on the way) growth is still rapid and none of the leaves look burnt anymore :) pistils have completely stopped forming so looks like the plan to revert back to veg worked. The fresian dew auto has been placed in a 9L airpot and is on day 5. Feedback is appreciated :)

Thanks alot mate! I really do appreciate the feedback. I.have taken the plunge and rewired the e27 reflector socket to the plug and it worked so that's all up and running. Next step is a proper soil, airpots and to move Mrs auto in!
