Day 12.
Nothing of any real interest, growth is still rapid and dark green. Boring. Here's some awsome apple jack buds I'm smoking at the moment, they are so dense, crystally and tasty, I seriously recommend it!!!

Day 13 under light
Emergency!
Found four leaves eaten and this little bastard who is now thoroughly dead. I have cut the half eaten leaves off but now I'm stressing about my bug problem. What is this?
Is it okay now I have removed him?
What can I do to prevent any of his little bug mates turning up and munching the rest of my baby?

HEEELLLLPPPPPP!!!!!

Day 15

I now have two plants on the grow! Mrs Fresian dew auto by Dutch passion was moved into the room last night in a 20L air pot with biobizz soil mix. She broke ground on Tuesday and is now 6 days old however has been outside in the crappy English weather the whole time and that has probably slowed her. I've also recieved some biobizz grow, bloom and topmax nutes. What a generous friend I have!!! No further signs of caterpillars :) max temp room has reached at tops of plant 31 Celsius, minimum has been 24 so that seems better. Next step is to repot the bagseed plant into a larger pot, improve her soil at the same time, increase ventilation and add some supplement cfl lighting. Feedback is always appreciated! Day 16

Fresian dew is fine, bagseed showing further signs of caterpillar damage to 1 leaf. I have decided to order some BG caterpillar spray today so that it can be used before I trigger flowering. Back on 24\0 light as another timer blew last night (that's two now) so I'm ordering a heavy duty non crappy cheap Chinese timer from a reputable hydroponics store when funds are available! FeedBack is appriciated!

A few of the leaves look weird today, twisting inwards with brown marks all over. Also some new growth looks brown at the tips. Any ideads if this is nute/light burn or some kind of deficiency?DSC_0195.jpg

Thanks for the input! I decided to go for a lummii brand timer made specially for grow lights. A little more expensive but this grow is no longer the budget grow it was meant to be and more of a steep learning curve and accumulation of equipment! Have decided to get a PH test kit to see if that's my problem although it won't arrive for a few days. In the mean time I flushed my soil thoroughly with bottled water and will add biobizz grow, a small dose of tomatoe food and some Epsom salts next feed to see if that helps!

Thanks man, This was her after 6 months of being in a tiny pot with no artificial lighting. Saved a small amount on electric I guess!

So the ph kit arrived. First I tested my tap water and it came to 7.8 then I tested my runoff which was 7.5. Hmmm anyway, I phd 3 galleons of water to 6.2 and flushed it through my plant. I then made up a galleon and biobizz grow which when mixed with my tapwater came to a ph of 6.4. I then fed this to my plant. I hope this will solve my problems! As a supplement I have also Foliar fed her some Epsom salts. Fingers crossed!!!

Soil ph is now as it should be, I have removed the leaves that were beyond saving. The damaged areas have stopped spreading and the new growth is healthy. That was a hard lesson to learn! The freesian dew is coming along nicely with its third set of leaves just appearing. Thanks for stopping by, feedback is appreciated!

Day 23

Changed into its finishing pot with a new soil mix of 30% canna-coco for water retention and 70% aged compost with a heaped teaspoon of Epsom salts. It came out easily and was a solid white lump (probably a little rootbound.) Fed with biobizz grow at full strength, Run off Ph came to 6.3. The fresian dew has really sped it it's growth recently!
