They have a ticking time clock. So if you were to clone a plant that's at say day 30 the clone would still finish at the same time as the one u took the clone from.
Autos are pretty easy. Stick the seed in a rapid rooter and stuff it in a 5 gallon pot. At week 2 give it a light 25% strength feed and slowly increase it to 50% if she keeps looking good increase it more. Just stick it under 20 hours light for its whole life and chop like you would a photo.
In my brief experience autos can produce decent numbers considering their life span.This bitch is day 50 from seed,a little late to start flowering but has put on some size
