I'm using a 400 watt hps, htg brand. And I've got 5 CFL's for side lighting.

That's how I've got it. This is my first grow by the way so you may want to take any advice I might have with a grain of salt.

My plants as a whole are looking pretty rough. There part that matters looks great tho.

Chopped one plant, trichs where all really cloudy. Letting other plant go longer. Here is pic of first harvest off first plant. Very happy to get this far. Now to dry them and jar them.

No, wish I could have but i don't have scales. I've got a cheap set on the way so I can at least get a dry weight. I think I will get 2 to 3 oz's off the 2 plants dry. Have to wait and see tho. Thanks tho yeatster!!

I cut it a little early im afraid but I at least waited on cloudy trichs to cover the plant. I had to satisfy my impatience.

The closet I've got them hanging in is about 70 degrees with 50 rh. I've got a small fan blowing against the wall for a little air movement. How long should I expect for this to dry? I'm thinking about a week.

I think a week is a good estimate, but I would start checking with a little squeeze a bit sooner. You don't want overdry.

Some people try for like 4 days then a day or so In a paper bag.
What I did, was put the bigger buds in paper bag after 5 days, for a day. By this time the smaller buds were jarred. A hygrometer takes the guess work out of it.

Also, I left a few buds on a wire cooling rack to quick dry. Because I was also impatient.

Well I just put my bud in a jar today after drying for 7 days. Still wasn't extrmemly dry so I will have to watch it. My other plant is still growing. I'm letting this one go about lot longer. It is behind my other plant as far as maturity for some reason. I probably chopped my other one a little early though but the smoke is good so I'm happy.

I've got to say trimming these buds is a bitch and I didn't have very much to do.

you get a final dry weight yet, you prob reached your goal, I might do a journal for my second grow, great job btw

No I haven't got a total dry weight yet. Don't have scales. Looks to be about a Oz or a little less off that plant. Still got one plant to chop. And thanks

Oh yes, very rewarding. Just more difficult to get all the little leaves with out destroying the buds than I expected. I enjoy it tho.
