Hey man, it's looking good, well done! I'm also growing WW in coco, think mine are a couple weeks ahead of yours into flower. I know I'm late to the party and you've already figured this out, but calmag is an essential both with coco and filtered water, so you definitely need it throughout veg, wish I'd figured it out quicker but at least I know for the future. I find growing is very much a "live and learn" kind of hobby lol!
Thanks man, I've actually looked thru your journal before, your grow looks really good. Better than mine i would say although mine has came around. There are times when mine looked like shit.you are very right about live and learn. You can't read or be told how to do it just got to figure it out and be patient which is the hardest part.

Oh cheers, I think I've had more than my fair share of beginner's luck to be honest, I keep waiting for it all to turn to shit lol! I've had a lot of help though, I've really taken advantage of all the knowledge on RIU. I've kind of read everything I can get my hands on and then just done what seems right to me and it's working for me so far. Have you tried silica? I discovered it recently and, I swear, the first time I used it at least one of my plants was 1 1/2 inches taller at lights out, I love the stuff. I also had a bit of a mild nitrogen deficiency which the silica seems to have fixed, I assume by slightly raising the pH of the coco so that nothing got locked out, so I can't recommend that shit highly enough! Can't wait to see some up to date pics :bigjoint:

This is pics of my other plant. It was a runt from the get go and I transplanted it way to late so I sort of wrote it off and focused on the other one. It has came around tho. It's colors are better and more even than the big plant and this plant is probably healthier. Can't wait for them to be done and ready to harvest.

Meant to say I haven't heard of silica, very well may try it next grow. I'm going to do a few things different. For sure going to add a LED light to grow on top of 250 watt hps.

Looking good!

One thing I think alot of people lack in their journal is, with each update stating the strain and age. I am subscribed to quite a few and I have to keep going to first page for info.

The added tent pic you did was def nice.

Peace

Looking good man, I think you're doing just fine :bigjoint:
Deffo try the silica, I'm a complete convert, and yeah I've loads of things I want to get for next time and upgrades to do as I go along, I've got it all worked out. My major thing though is that I won't have to buy my smoke off anyone else, that's definitely the best thing about growing. Hopefully!
It's great how the runt is turning out, it's amazing how hardy they are and that one might turn out to have the best yield, everyone says you can't tell how they'll yield from how they grow. How have you found the fabric pots? Are they proper Smart pots? I have some coming from China, not sure they'll be as good as the proper (expensive) ones but I'll give them a go, meant to be great for the root ball :peace:

They are knock offs, I have some of the real deal 7 gallon smart pots for next grow. I kept these plants smaller cause I am in a hurry to get some smoke. I can't for serval reasons get any where I live now so I seen growing as my only option. As far as how they work, they seem to work great. The ones I'm in now are 3 gallon. The roots grow right through the bottom and then air prune themselves. I've had some grow out the side also, which I like to see cause I know they aren't circling the pot and becoming bound. The bottom is covered with roots constantly growth thru tho, pretty cool.

Plants still coming along nicely, main cola on my biggest plant is getting taller and fatter pretty quick now. Really started getting bigger fast on last 3 days or so.

Looking really good man, how far along are you now? I know mine have pretty much stopped growing this last week and are just getting fat instead, it's awesome! I really need to update my journal actually, I'm starting to forget stuff I've done with them!

Actually I decided to go ahead and get some pics, it's white widow from
Nirvana and I'm 32 days into flowering. The buds are all that big yet but they are getting pretty frosty. I'm thinking it will be some pretty good smoke I hope. Let me know what you all think.

Meant to say the buds aren't all that big yet. Might not get that big, my plants are barely over 2 feet tall. I think they look pretty nice tho. I'm happy so far. I thought my plants where going to die the first few weeks so I'm happy to make it to a point where I know I will get a harvest. Thanks to everyone who helped me.

Yummy gooiness!

Don't sell yourself short on this. You may be very surprised. I harvested my first 2 Jack Herer Auto the other day. They were very stout but the buds were fat and dense. I also almost killed these. We live and learn my friend.

Here's a prechop of 1( they were relatively the same size).

Then trimmed. 643g., wet.

Peace
