3/4 of plants are harvested. Except for a little too much color change it looks pretty good. The next run will have a better outcome. As soon as I get some yield numbers I will update the thread and basically close up the thread.

If I could build this room again I would probably build it around my ac capabilities. But, it's working and upgrades can happen down the road.

Cheers y'all

Had some temp swings that were extreme and some big humidity swings. Just first time run thru in a new space hiccups. That triggered a pretty big blue/purple color change along with nitro deficiency created a lot of yellows and purples. It's really frosty and dense just really purple. Plus crappy soil since this was mostly an unplanned pregnancy. I'll upload a couple shots from my camera, the next round will stay greener until really close to the end we'll see.

How did you dry?

The dry is still ongoing, It was all hung mostly defoliated, and hung image.jpg on the stem in the spare bedroom. It was starting to feel crispy a little around day 7 and was placed in bins. Now the bins are chillin with lids mostly off letting more moisture come off, still a little soft. The cure is always the hardest part for me. Here's a quick photo showing the purps:)

Finally done trimming. Long and tedious process, but that's just how it goes. I really took my time with manicuring to get the prettiest buds possible. 4.3 lbs all said and done.
We've learned a lot, and are shooting to double that number in the next harvest...

Reviews for all of our strains were outstanding, though some a little better than others. Giving all of it plenty of time to cure. All of the jars range from 64%-66% RH, which is just where I want it. Already smelling nice and dank!! Can't wait to try it in a few weeks.

All of our nice trimmings certainly didn't go to waste. Ended up with 86 grams of high quality BHO shatter...

Yep Patrick, I guess "ouch" is one way to look at it for sure. Fortunately that's not really our sentiment at all. We've learned a lot and it'll be worlds better this next time around. A ton of mistakes were made, but we've been able to pay off every penny of our initial investment from just that small harvest, and had a nice sum extra to invest in what we need to make our next run way more successful. We're free-rolling now which was our initial goal, and we feel damn lucky. We're stoked that we're doing it and keeping a positive attitude, even though our yield was pretty shitty for our first grow attempt in a brand new room. We're not doing this for a living; maybe some day when we get better at it we will be. For now we're just trying to figure out how to grow great weed and have fun doing it.

Oh ok. I wasn't aware your not growing to pay the bills. What state are you in? How much was your electric bill for this? I only ask cause my room is about a third larger than yours and my electricity is 2600 per month. Did you make enough for a mini split and co2? I believe those 2 things will fix 90% of your problems and double your yields easily. You mentioned that your goal was 6-8 pounds. So getting 4 I don't see why you would be ok with this. That would barely cover the electricity as far as I know..
Let alone the investment. You must be out east?

We're not "ok" with 4 lbs, but not much we can do about it now other than push on. Our electricity situation is unique, which is why we can keep this grow thing fun. If we were dealing with $2600 power bills, let alone $300 power bills, forget it. I certainly wouldn't be on here posting happy things. That being said, we're doing "ok." We made enough to cover what we've spent and need, including materials for the construction of a larger second room, which we're excited about.

Curious what's unique about your electricity
