Oh there's going to be trauma all right. Once those claws find some tender morsels.
This is your fault; do you understand? Youuu provoked me. I recoiled from saying "catastrophic", so there it is ... the afterbirth on the serving-platter. I reject any and all blame. cn

Cannabis is bad for dogs. Don't give it to them. You have NO FUCKING WAY of knowing how the animal is responding 2 it. Even if your dog is chilling, it may not like it at ALL

If you tried to give my dog a shotgun joint hit or get her to eat a cannabis bud- I Would Kick the Living Fucking Shit Out of U and Kick U to the Fucking Curb. Then I would tell U that if you ever came back, I would REALLY put U in the hospital

Get it??! Don't give your dogs some weed, bros! It's cowardly

Yea ok big guy.

My buddy has a dog that comes up to you to blow smoke in it's face and follows the joint from person to person. And if eaten and eaten to much I believe can be fatal to animals. I know of another dog that ate a big chronic bud and had to go to the vets.

^^^^ that's idiotic. do U give dogs beer, onions, macadamia nuts, chocolate, artificial sweeteners, grapes-raisins and/or aspirin, too? B-cuz all of those are bad for dogs

Colorado veterinarians have a message for medical marijuana users: Don't get your dog stoned. Marijuana is toxic in a dog's system, they say, and has even resulted in some canine deaths.
"There are huge spikes in the frequency of marijuana ingestion in places where it's become legal," veterinarian Dr. Debbie Van Pelt told local CBS affiliate WTSP. "They basically have lost a lot of their fine motor control, they have a wide-based stance and they are not sure on their feet."
Before medical marijuana was legalized in Colorado, local vets say they saw only a handful of cases of dogs exposed to the substance per year. But now, those numbers have more than quadrupled.
The vets say most of the dogs are getting high from medical marijuana edibles left out in the open by their owners. Marijuana edibles are cookies, brownies and other foods prepared with a butter laced with THC, the psychoactive ingredient in pot.
And while some pet owners may think it's funny to get their dogs high, the vets say pot is actually toxic to a dog's system. Cats are similarly vulnerable to negative effects from inhaling second-hand marijuana smoke or eating edibles. Cat experts say many owners inaccurately believe that marijuana will have a similar effect on their cats as catnip.
"I just want dogs, kids to be safe. It needs to be treated like any other drug. If you came home with a prescription of Vicodin from your doctor you wouldn't just leave it sitting there," veterinarian Stacy Meola told the station.
In fact, Dr. Meola said that two dogs recently died after ingesting a lethal amount of marijuana. Such deaths are rare, but even in cases in which a dog's life is not threatened, the dog may still be subjected to painful symptoms, including vomiting and even comas.

What is a 'lethal' amount... 2 pounds??? ¿
a bud or 2 doesn't consider lethal.

Yea ok big guy.
.
I'm not really big....I have skills

If you ever tried to touch my dog when it is against my 'house rules' .....I would twist your arm behind your back by grabbing your thumb first...then I would show the way off my property so well that you would memorize it----and never come back

I love my dog....not even a wrongful touch will come from a stranger. You will meet my WRATH

I've seen a couple dogs ingest waaay too much. One was a roommates dog and they were my edibles. I felt pretty terrible about it. She was a little pug, no bigger than 4 lbs. She found some cookies i had forgot i even had.
I took her to an animal hospital and they fed her charcoal. A few hours after that she was just really tired. She pooped black the next day and was back to normal.
The vet tech said they get 3-4 stoned dogs a week brought in.... everyone in this city smokes.
