The light makes me feel happy, I imagine the plants are just loving every second under it.
its bright but does have a nice vibe in that room. Its funny GG because I have bought so many lights lol annnd sold alot as well, but these ol ufo gems are working well. I think the added 450nm blue is making a bigger difference than i thought. Compared to my last veg under the cmh alone these "seem" to be moving along faster and tighter node spacing. But they are new strains lol so theres that...:bigjoint:

Couldn't resist a night shot, update day 31 flower, back to 12/12 but still using far red at lights out. No more extra 630/660nm red leds which i think may have been too much red after looking at the cmh graph of red it already has. And last my co2 is up to 1400 ppm. I'll have a very close eye on humidity as these will no doubt be the biggest colas in girth i've ever had.

Hey Cola are you running far red 24/7 ? Does that effect your night time temps ? I`ve been tempted to see what bands and how much intensity of light I can add at night that will actually help increase yield or speed things up but I`ve not wanted to hermi anything or waste money

Do you find you still get a good colour change at night ? I try and drop my girls down to 18 maybe even 16c at night as I like to see some colour, but I`m tempted to add some far red and knowing I could run it 24/7 would probably be the last nail in the sales pitch I`d need to dust the old wallet off

There looking lush but you know that......

Thank you, To answer your questions in one shot, i use led far red , lumigrow bulbs 17 watts each works for the whole room 6x12ft. So my temps don't get effected at all. I tend to let my temps drop the last couple of weeks for any possible color. Hopefully that helps :)

Cool have you ran a comparison or seen anyone else run a vs with regards to running the far red at "night" ?

I saw some evidence that green light is used by some plants to repair themselves so one would think running green 25/7 may help sick or damaged plants recover but as they don`t use green efficiently it would be quite a waste of power

Hmm trying to think what I can nab cheap off ebay that will just have far red leds and be pretty much plug and play

I run about 600w of led and 200w of 3000k induction with some side lights 2 x 105w cfls on my main flower area so something like the 17w light your using might do me or maybe I can get some far red smd`s on the sticky back lengths and just do a little pattern around the sides of my led lights... lol
