Hey fellow gardeners, been a bit quiet lately and finally put aside some time to get to the scene on here. I now have two gardens as things worked out with my existing CMH garden. Figured it was appropriate to start fresh instead of updating my start to finish thread. Anyways here are some current photos of my existing garden. Ten ladies under the 2460 watt Cmh goodness! (same two 860 all start in luxor & two 315 watt elite agro in og hoods=2460 actual draw)

2 left >Critical sensi star, Middle row >White rhino /Strawberry cough/ White rhino, 3rd row front/back >Thunderbud /Blue dream

Rest of the Ladies in far back row >3 Critical sensi star
IMAG0269.jpg

I chose 5 Critical sensi star due to her big finish last run, first from clone she finished at a beautiful 9.35 oz dry :hump::weed: which was a big improvement from seed only being 6.5 oz the previous run.
Keep in mind this run the plants are not as big as other runs of mine, but, running 10 girls in the same area they should still fill out nicely with the co2 running. Also they are only 13 days into 12/12 so the fun has just begun (with the exception of the white rhino which are only day 2).

Here are clones for my next veg run bathing in a 315 watt 4200k cmh elite system. Various strains, the ladies mentioned above with the addition of cbd critical mass, "The big" sativa heavy pheno, and Jamaican dream.

Now as for my other garden, which will have a separate thread due to hps being involved, but I'll show a glimpse here because it does have a cheesy led system for veg lol (apollo units with white leds)

All mystery strain

I'll add that these plants are being fed with advanced nutes ph perfect coco line...thought i'd never say it but its working well haha. Only the 2 part sensi line thats it, nothing else, doing fine. Can't complain as i wanted my spare garden to be a very easy maintenance run. Almost went hempy/kiss style with maxibloom but decided not to obviously.

Good to be back :bigjoint:

Well sometimes things begin awesome and turn to shitttt, I hate the transition to flower sometimes.... I used my veg nutes for two weeks into flower and I have what looks like nitrogen toxicity, please chime in with your own input :wall: Day 24 flower and they are def behind on growth compared to previous runs
IMAG0310.jpg IMAG0313.jpg IMAG0314.jpg
Room in its entirety, some look better than others but the issue is working its way through
IMAG0305.jpg IMAG0306.jpg IMAG0308.jpg IMAG0311.jpg
Annnd an update on my veg Day 30 at my new spot, still JUST Sensi ph perfect a&b (would never buy 12 additives anyhow lol) , very surprised by the results of this project

Now on day 29 flower, they are starting to look better and had to tie up some branching which is a good sign of weight being packed on. However they just don't seem as far along as past runs. Now the reasoning is hard to pin point with so many variables. Nitrogen toxicity, azamax spraying, no use of far red lighting this run just a pure 12/12 lighting schedule and last but not least no addition of 660nm led ufo. I wanted to see if there was a true difference using the cmh alone with no help, along with the far red 13/11 photoperiod. So far I think there is a definite difference in flowering speed/ size of flower development but with the N toxicity variable being thrown in its a tough call this round. Especially since that def slows flower growth but oh well, they still are filling out the room nicely and this is only the half way point sooo hoping the next half goes better :joint:

Some fairly up close shots, Critical sensi and Blue dream
IMAG0325.jpg IMAG0326.jpg
Blue dream is a beast and queen of the room in terms of size, the White rhino might catch right up in time tho!
Last pic shows the nice placement under the luxor with my solo cup contestant 8-)
IMAG0327.jpg IMAG0328.jpg IMAG0329.jpg
And the new veg off to a late start but they have 5 weeks to grow I think they'll be just fine. Second attempt at pure coco, after seeing my ph perfect results at my new grow op I'll be doing a heavy 16 aptus vs Sensi ph perfect coco run, only way to find out is the proof of my own testing!
day 14 since rooted in solo cups (wayyyy too long were root bound like a mofo) , 1st day in 3 gal and topped today at the 5th node

Yeah, looks terrible, I'd just pack it in and start again - lmao Looking good, nice garden ;)

I don't know if it's putting them @14/10 for 8-10 days under the LED's before flipping to 12/12. Or, possibly vegging/stretching under LED's then switching the lights to CMH for 12/12. But for 2 rounds straight when they get under 12/12 and the CMH they grow at an incredible pace and blow out flowers faster than I've ever seen. Next round, if I can manage it, I may flip them into the flower room and stretch them under the CMH @14/10, then switch the lights to 12/12 to see there's any difference in flowering rate. I think it's the 14/10 @ 8-10 days, they're just at borderline flowering and stretched by the time they go into 12/12, almost like they're ready to explode.

They look like doppelgangers of each other lol nice job on the canopy control
Cmh seems to do pretty decent in veg
Thanks Natro, I rotate each plants position and spin them every couple of days which seems to do the trick :) They are all topped once, but at there current size which happened faster than normal, I might have to flip them to flower soon.

Thanks, I am surprised at the amount of coverage the reflector has, i purchased it from welthink. They have electronic ballasts that come with small gavita type reflectors attached. Now as I'm editing this post, I can see from past posts there is a picture of the whole unit lol
Hey Coco, any tips on height/coverage in veg with those 315w/4200k bulbs? Thinking 20-24"?

Can you go into the specifics on your bulb/ballast configuration........Don't think this is a Phillips approved setup? are your 315w bulbs mogul based or t10?

Thanks for the info brother

I keep a distance of 24" and get a decent 4x4 to 5x5ft coverage in veg only obviously. I raise the light as needed and as noted before rotation of plants is always key

I don't know off the top of my head, but ballasts run on both 240 and 120, I know that much because in flower they are on 240v as all my lights are. In veg they are on 120v plugs. As for the specs all info is on the website http://www.welthinkusa.com/ballast.php second ballast in the list. I use these exact bulbs no problem with these ballasts, and have for a while http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0085LTW3M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
