got another question for the breeders...do any of you experience some of your seeds cracking before they come off the plant? i have some seeds that are browning but i just noticed that some are split on the side. tried taking a pic but didnt get a good shot, i pulled one and it still had a bit of green on the tip but had clear markings and like 85% brown and it was split on the side. i can see a few more like this on the bud still and theres still a good amount that are still 100% green.

iv seen a couple like that i doubt thhey would last in the long run but i threw mine in some water and they germed in like a a day or so.

could be a comination of ressesive genes. do they all do it? of more like 50 percent?

well there was 6 seeds and only 3 fems 2 x deep psycho and one engineers dream. The 2nd dp is the worst or best exsample of it lol

Good morning gents, hope everyone is well. Very nice mr.west. I was noticing those fine hairs too, very feminine looking. I respluffed Jackie on Sunday, and I'm pretty sure I finally finished my quest for Jack Hammer seeds but it's out of my hands now. Hopefully Jackie will be a real nice smoke but if not I have lots of pollen left and my last two seedling up and vegging now so I might have another crack at it soon. Now I'm moving on to the Extrema project and thinking of what else I could do alongside it. I have 8 Heri seeds I want to run all together but I'm moving in the next 3 to 6 months and want to save it for after that. But I do have 5 Afghani freebies I wanted to run for pollen and breeding purposes. If I get something nice then I'll have a good Indica to cross with something. Maybe this Jack Hammer to shorten flowering, idk.

Ok, so it seems I have two very different smelling PK's, one is super Lemon stank, and the other no lemon, it just went into jars yesterday so hopefully something interesting will come out in the cure. I think the number 1 pheno is the winner....shorter flowering time, very dense buds, and super lemon smell. Just waiting for the sour cheese to come through!

missed this one. I have had plenty seeds that are like that, they can still be viable. I also have seeds with what looks like the tap root bursting out of the husk down one side, again those where viable and rooted very quickly......

thanks for the replies. i did take a couple out that were cracked and it seemed like they were starting to germ already and had what appeared as the tap root and two leaves all white since they had not recieved light. might have been on the stage to reaching what you had mentioned there DST. ill make sure to leave the rest and see how they turn out, ive only recognized it on my Sour D cross and not on my GDP which is odd.

with 6 of the 8 seeds being female, that came out of a pack of reg seeds i now have my hands full.

u got that righ,i was some what mad,when i seen all them hairs,not nuf room around here...

theres never enough room, i managed to get all the plants that were in the living room in a tent lol now jus need room to pot on lmao.

lol,i got like 4 plants sittin outside the tent,they get rotated with others,every few days..lol
