ooooh exciting times D! last pic looks mouthwatering. cant wait to taste mine. I was talkin with my lass about what the likely outcome would be of crossing to the livers/blues with it being part cheese to begin with, i hope there will be more fuelly funk coming out but wont know till down the line.

ive seen similar on a couple of mine, usually pulls itself round. if memory serves it happened with a purp pheno
Sorry Don I missed this reply. I was wondering if the seed hadn't dried enough or something, it was very dark, healthy and mature looking but it took 5 or 6 days to sprout out. To give you an idea, this shot is with a Purp that I planted side by side with this one. I'm watching to see if and how much it can catch up.

hmmm does look like somethings wrong rather than a trait. nice stash box too!
Well I just planted another one, it was also dark and healthy looking and had more time to sit but it also stood out in size by far to the other seeds. Anyway it came up right along side 2 Jackhammers and a Cheeseberry Haze looking just as green and healthy as them too. Before I came here I was naive and thought that once a female caught pollen then the whole plant would pollinate and produce seed and I now know different but, can a hermied female in a tent with 3 strapping Jackhammers produce 4 different crosses? One from each of the males and herself? Thanks about the stash box, I bought it the first week I met my wife over 16 years ago. I was single and tending bar making good coin and spending it too. I really want a kief box like someone got here not too long ago, can't recall who.

yeah man id love a kief box ive got bubble bags and the hash is lovely but its messy to make lol. no idea whether a hermie could do your other girls up the wrongun but possibly man

There was only the one girl in the tent. she was a clone of my first bag seed and hermied like her mother, but there were no other girls in the tent, only 3 males. So could each individual calyx be fertilized by individual males pollen while the hermied calyxes fertilize themselves. And also, could a single calyx be fertilized by multiple males? Am I even close?

i im pretty sure it comes down to indivdual grains of pollen. so no multi grains on one calyx. but muti strains in one seeded bud yep. but i dont know for sure cant i aint never do it. but i think the backcrossing and cubing section of this paper is proof

Same principles apply as to all areas of germinating in nature....1 pollen grain reacts with one stigma and calyx. Multiple types of pollen can pollenate one plant. I assume that the cells can also split to create twins, which in my experience can contain different phenottypes within the one seed. However, in this case it will still hold the saem 20 chromosones of the parent plants but would be in a different order. IF anyone wants to go and check Thelma and Louise on my thread as an example.....

Some of the best weeds around have come from Herm Bagseed....Chemdawg, need I say more?!?!?! As always, it's about finding that plant that will knock your socks off.

Peace, DST

I think it would be cool to pollenate an entire plants then but have each branch with a different papa. I wonder how hard it would be to have success doing that. I guess you wouldn't know if there was any rogue pollen until you grew out the seeds. It would be difficult to say exactly what the genetics of those seeds were since it would be possible for pollen to be blown from one branch to another after you were done painting plant man juice all over the girly parts.

I have a dpp/livers at day 31 and there are 4 different males that I am going to partially breed with in the next day or so, these are what 'fine' paint brushes are for.

You gave me the giggles just now, hehe. I don't paint so don't have paint brushes, probably should get on that...

luckily my wife paints, lol. Hey cof, I hope you get the 7 weeker, that's what I am aiming at, a nice hard hitting short flowering strain. Good for the commercial peeps ;)

To my brethren,
I've been wondering, how long should I let those seeds dry in the envelope?

I thank you kindly. (tip of the hat)

I just realized that Acapulco gold is a 70-75 day strain. Not going to be too good for my garden but I want to try some so I'll give her a whirl anyway. Maybe just a few plants though on the side and not in rotation in the hydro.

I have my female bx2 pollenated by 3 bx2 males i used coled strings to identify. i just made sure i had no air movement and i let i sit for a day alone. after the day i bblew her blew her off and sprayed her down set her back in the main bud room. i figured it was gonna save me some time this way

That's kind of what I was thinking, color coding the branches, but was just concerned about some pollen from one bud getting on another that you are trying to pollenate with a different strain. Sounds like it is definitely doable though saying as how you guys are already doing it.

rouge pollen is still a possibility but i was very careful. im gonna grow them out in batches so if anything dif pops up. i should catch it.

if you guys have a chance, for those that havent seen, integra did mulitple crosses on his strains and tied some paper cones or bags around the pollenated buds for a week or so to make sure the pollen stays on each branch with out going onto the others. been awhile since i looked back at that thread so i cant say how he did it for sure though.
