I use the Lucas Formula in soil with very good results. I use RO water with it so I add Cal Mag Plus as well. I am going to start using 5mL hammerhead from AN to add in with my current Lucas Formula now that I am past week 1 of flowering. Once I am 4 weeks away from harvest I will cut my Hammerhead and Lucas Formula in half and add MOAB (Mother of all Buds). I will then feed them this combo for 2 weeks. The last 2 weeks I flush with pure RO. Here is where I am at right now just using the Lucas Formula thus far.

See, I too use the exact same stuff. I too use the 'Green Light, Super Bloom'. I have a bottle of Super-Thrive. Plus, I use molasses occasionally as well. But that's all I use.. is that enough to get good dense buds? Or should I add or swap out something for something else?

I just took a few sample buds from my laides, who are just know starting week #8 of flowering.. the buds seem a little airy for my likings.. but I'm hoping that once I harvest both plants in another 2 or 3 weeks.. I'm hoping that while they dry.. since Cannabis shrinks until its completely dried.. I'm hoping that the drying process might a little more density to the buds. They're not completely airy.. to the point where I would just toss them in the trash.. no where near it actually. They're just a little too airy for my personal likings.. but I guess all I can do is wait until 3 weeks is up.. harvest both plants.. dry them.. let them cure for a good 3 or 4 weeks.. and hope for the best.

The strain, which I have growing currently.. is Nirvana's 'Ice' strain. Which is a great strain.. but I'm afraid that the strain is more on the Sativa side than Nirvana realizes. That plays a big part in how dense the buds will be too.. genetics plays a big part. Most Sativa strains will always have more airy type of buds.. just because its Sativa.. as when compared to a strain that's got more Indica genetics in it.. the buds seem to always be more heavy and dense.. when they come from an Indica strain... compared to buds that come from a more Sativa strain.

anyhow.. just wondering what would be best to use for this strain. Any advice is helpful.. peace.

i just use 14-14-14 4 month time release pellets but then again my girls are in the ground so they probably get a good source of nutes already.

I found this stuff that works awsome, although it defanetly will kill and isnt organic i dont think. Its called superthrive. this company has been in business since 1940. I use it every other day on soil and use it for my hydro. my soil gets 3 drops pergallon but every plant is different and i started with 1 drop per gal at first. I wouldnt transplant or grow anything without this stuff. oh my hydro i put 1/8 cup for 100 gallons. just be sure to check your ph before and after.

this stuff isnt a fertilizer, its a vitamin-hormone solution. im looking at the bottle. ummm made in usa by vitamin institute www.superthrive.com hope it works for ya

I just purchased Crop nutes which the guy at the store swore by. It's a simple A, B, C, method. I was going to get Adv. nutes but he talked me out of it. So has anybody ever tried these "Crop" nutes?

During flowering and some vegging I still like General Hyrdroponics which was one of the first and best. I mix the 3 types to get what I want. It contains magnesium which some don't. It's like the 4th nute and very important.

Beginning of week 6- (4) Purple Kush (Oaksterdam clones). I found these indicas like bottom feeding which is unlike most sativas that like it poured directly on the dirt. Of course I use CO2 as well.

For flowering I use lots of Bat Guano and molasses. I also use Humboldt Grow and Ginormous, Cal-Mag, and Thrive-Alive Red, but sparingly.

Yea the Canna Terra nutes are good. Personally I use AN Big Bud, AN Bud Candy depending on strain, and my special homebrew mix of B-Complex vitamins(half a tab), 1/8th-1/10th scoop Protein mix(for amino acids), 1 tbs molasses, 5ml canna rhizotonic, I also like to incorporate Humbolts County's Bushmaster(at super low levels 1ml per gal), and Gravity. Also use AN Bud Blood which works very nicely.

ill rep for the Humboldt. but if u use the Natural line make sure u use something like the Whitwwidow or Myco Madness and let it brew for 24-48 hours before applying. this gives the best results. and Honey ES gives the best taste ever. currently trying outh the Equilibrium the guys from my supply store hooked me up with

ill rep for the Humboldt.
guy at my hydro store told me he has used almost ALL the top name brands, and he always gets the biggest yields with technaflora, ie the BC line.

I am using the recipe for sucess kit. Its like a combination of
BC Boost
BC Bloom
Thrive Alive
MagiCAL
Awsome Blossoms
Sugardaddy

its a mix you really cannot compare, or beat. The bloom and boost handle all your NPK (for flowering). The extra four contain micronutrients, and the sugardaddy is where you get the molasses substitute. the micro-nutes have the iron, calcium, magnesium, Molybendum, Boron, Copper, potash, zinc, sulfur, EVERYTHING.
