I've seen alot of different people swear by a certain brand of nutes. We just started having stores around where i live carry nutes catering to the weed grower so i've had until now make due with good old mg.... Seems to be working fine for me..........

I agree with the fact that you learn from experience, and you also have to read up and learn about growing pot. But you know for a fact that jack's classic's is not as good as advanced nutrients right? That's why i'm asking for nutrients that other people use because there might be some that we've never heard of that are really good.
would pick Jack's over AN everytime, don't know where you got this notion but you would be way wrong

For soil, I like my home made compost, House and Garden Bio-1 Component. Bud candy. Subculture m,b. Mollassas, Bud XL and a list of a couple more organics.

I'm not bashing on Jack's nutes at all, in fact i'm currently using them now. Do you mind telling me why you would choose Jack's over AN? Prices maybe?

I like to run the full FF line-up (including the soluble additives) EXACTLY per the schedule. I water every other day, and use the FF nutes every other watering. For the waterings in between, I like to add 3 tsp/gal of liquid AN Big Bud during weeks 2 through 5 of 12-12. I also will occassionally add 1 tsp/gal of Cal-Mag to the "in between" waterings. I'm currently only growing one strain (Dinafem Power Kush), but this strain loves the nutes. Plants stay nice and green throughout flowering, until the last week when I only give them water.

I'm thinking about giving the AN base nutes a try, but they just have too much shit to choose from.

Howdy all. I'm on my first indoor grow, using soilless mix, and I was planning to use GH's Floranova series along with some Bio Root. Any thoughts, words on your own experience, etc, would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I'm using only Jack's Classic duo. The plants seem to love it, and for soil it's an exceptionally clean fertilizer with all the good shit your plants want.

my plants are going on there second week right now. im growing outdoors an i need to know what would be the best nutes to use on week 3? i have no special gardening stores around only wal mart an lowes. so could somebody suggest what would be the best nutes i could buy from either of these stores. it would be much appreciated.
Unfortunately there are no good nutes at wal mart or lowes or home depot...I'm just like you man but I live a little far from houston and we're going to be driving through houston to go Garner State Park and there's a hydroponic nation in houston that has pretty much everything needed. Best luck is to look on google maps for the closest hydroponic store and make a trip over there one day.

Just curious as to how you know for a fact that jack's does not work as well as advanced nutrients??

Youll never find out the real truth untill you grow with both atleast a couple times. I think there was a question mark on that statement.

I stand by Fox Farms. I have had great sucess using their products. I also use un-sulphored molasses that works great in conjunction with the Fox Farms :)

i use 'green light - super bloom' 12-55-6

works pretty good.

I too am trying to find someone who could suggest a good nutrient i could use.. That will fatten up the buds on my two 'ice' plants i have going. Today is day #1, of week #6 of flowering and they're both doing wonderfully. Way better than i would have imagined. First time growing this strain and i'm actually blown away at how stable, healthy, and robust the strain is. But, with today being the first day of week #6 of flowering, i only have about 2 to 3 more weeks before they're ready for harvest. Maybe 4 weeks (max).

So i'm trying to find something i could feed the two sisters, to help fatten up the buds.. In the last 2 or 3 weeks of flowering before harvest comes.

Anyone have any suggestions?

[ super bloom ] i use the same; its the bomb. You can also use "bud candy" thats gets them good & fat :)
