They are more expensive but i have to agree with this guy. Dont get me wrong... part of the price tag is hype(cost of all those annoying fucking ads) but the results are pretty undeniable. If you are well experienced then experiment a little but if you need a sure thing i say go with an or home and garden.

Does anyone here use jack's classics? If so do you add anything to the mix? I'm currently using all purpose and bloom booster with cal mag added. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. + Rep too.

Look up a gentlemen called RIDDLEME>..I beleive he posted in here...Very convincing with the Jacks Classic and Dynagro....its a 20-20-20 and that sounds better then a 1 4 3 or some wimpy number like that ...most of the BS your buying is a NUTE PROGRAM and they MAKE their nutes cost more but do less so you have to keep buying more.....Im sure a company Like Jacks who has been around 50+ years is NOT fucking retards and probably know what they are doing....Im not buying the hype that AN puts out... That being said...I am looking into Liquid Karma and Suprethrive for additives...and I use Molasses ... thinking about adding Botanicare SWEET RAW to the mix.

Hi there,

My first attempt outdoors I added pineapple juice to the water, can't say I noticed any difference though. About
48 oz to 5 gallons.

Cheers

Sweet is watered down molasses...don't waste your money or time...look up the ingredients....2% glucose....7% sucrose...which is CORN SYRUP, MOLASSES AND 91% water...

Hope it helps...

Fox Farm soil without a doubt. I've heard good things about Blue Mountain Organics. The whole trio goes for 35 bucks total. Real small company. Only problem is ya gotta order the shit through EBay (which I hate).

Sorry man but you're waaay off here. If you're going to say sweet is another product, it's Epsom salt. Where are you getting your numbers because I have about 5 gallons of sweet in different size bottles and none of them include your random percents.

Do you have a better analysis of Sweet, Homebrew? Would be nice to see. from what I CAN see however, Sweet has sulfur included, which I always had thought adversely affected taste, and hence why molasses users always opt in the least for unsulphured. Although I don't have any info on blackstrap molasses, and can't say for sure what the guaranteed "water-soluble" % of these micro-minerals are, at least Grandma's unsulphured provides magnesium, calcium and iron to some degree, whereas Sweet only says it provides a bit of magnesium in addition to sulfur.

I guess I looked a bit more into the magnesium sulfate correlation to epsom salt and see where you are coming from. I reckon that nullifies my last post to a degree :P

Magnesium and sulfur are secondary macro nutrients and very important to plants. I don't know why people prefer 'unsulfered' molasses but then again, people think molasses 'sweetens' the product when it's mainly for the soil. There is a link in my previous post to the botanicare sweet label.

Yeah plants need sulfer, look at how many folks use Hydrotron only thing it adds is sulfer, I use it in my soilless mix instead of perlite

I'm using soil that has come from a compost pile. The plants are growing quite nicely in it, but I assume it's hard to get any kind of consistancy from composted soil though, depending on what's gone into it.
