One of my friends still has a 98 vr6 Jetta as his daily driver.
Junkyards everywhere are full of them so parts and modding is almost free if your willing to do some work.
Lots of fun can be had by the whole family lol
If you really want to get a rush try to find and test drive an r32 golf
Ridiculous car
Those r32 golfs are ridiculously awesome little rockets the power to weight and torque is tops

Work was okay. Glad it's the weekend lol. Nice pickup with the clip on fans. They work great for a tent. I just bought a 1000watt unit from Par-Horta. It's overkill for a 5x5 but it's dimmable.
Go check out timbergrowlights. The framework are awesome. I'd direct you to my unit but he doesn't have a picture of it yet.

I was on about the COB lights you reffered to earlier as I only really want to run 600w in my flower room or the equivalent of if if I'm using leds... and yeah they seem to do a good job my temp when I checked just now ( an hour before lights out ) was 25c but I'm still running the big oscillator along with the 4 clip ons but hopefulyy once I upgrade to the leds I shouldn't need the big oscilator

If you have the cooling in place just get 600w of led double in yield is worth a lot more than saving a few dollars on electricity.

LED is just too damn expensive in Canada. A self built COB light powerful enough to replace a 1000w hps would be worth more than I paid for my tent, carbon filter system and the digital ballast with both MH & HPS bulbs combined!

I would love to try LED sometime but power is cheap here and LED's aren't!

I get that but if you are using 1000w I'm guessing your selling some of that nug if you had twice as much to sell that would easily make up the cost and leave you with extra profit plus I personally hate changing bulbs or having one fail

No, I'm just getting back into this. I used to grow 15 years ago and that was completely for profit but now its all for me :bigjoint:.

I agree with the "to damn expensive" thing and your right, they cost way to much here, even the DIY route gets real pricey. Where the hell are you that power is cheap? I assume Quebec as it is cheap there, here in Ontario it's fucking outragous. I have wanted to build a light but keep waiting for prices to fall. For me HID does provide needed heat in the colder months which would have to be supplemented with LED I'm assuming which would be kind of a waste I think.

Your saying that the equal of 1K in any LED produces dbl the yield of HID?

Your full of BULL SHIT! What a stupid statement....

Probably more like 35-45% increase depending on the effeciency of the led doubling might not happen but quality will most likely be higher
NO!

I didn't say any. I assume you won't be a dumbass an buy shitty led.1.5-2 gpw is a very reachable goal with led .75-1 is what you can get with hps do the math...
