My humidity is usually in the forties but I already had some mold on one cola of another plant. The weather here has been wetter and colder than normal lately.

No time tonight,so I'm not sure when I'll get to it. I can't see going 75 days when using 730 nm,it's suppose to be 65 days I think, but the 730 usually takes a least a week off that.

the 730 takes a week off if its in 12/12, in 13/11 or 13.5/10.5 it adds another 2-3 weeks. just like outdoor.

Been on 12/12 for about 3 weeks.

You still ran the other schedule. I ran 12/12 first 2 weeks and then 13.5 / 10.5. I thought it was 13/11 until I was awake when they turned off one night / morning. Then back to 12/12 after week 6. 50 day strains went 65 days and 8 week strains that went 75 - 80 days. Staying on 12/12 the whole time makes them run a few days to a week less. Straight 13/11 or 13.5/10.5 from beginning to end, I don't know.. Going back and forth causes much longer flower time. It makes it just like outdoor flowering times.

I don't know what to tell you,I've been running 12/12-13.5/10.5-12/12 with 730 nm for at least a year and a half and it's shortened my flower times. Maybe the differences between your experiences and mine are strain related.

i don't got by trichs. too misleading they change back and forth daily. In the morning you could have amber trichs. The same trichs by the end of the same day can be clear. Light degradation. I wait for the reddish brown hairs to recede into the calyx. Then at that time the calyx swell up 2-3 times their size over a couple days. Pretty much when you barely see any hairs left on the buds they are ripe.

What ever you prefer.

Day 61 for the DS,been to busy to cut her but I hope to chop tomorrow night.
that deathstar looks like hell, dunno if its what your feeding her or environmental stress
but that cut can be done a LOT better than that. she yields stupid well for a 17+ year old
strain (if you have the elite clone, a lot of folks have s1). she's pretty finicky on N FYI.

Love these types of posts...................Oh do show us "a LOT better" DS grow using less than 200watts of any indoor lighting.

I'll wait again.....................

don't worry smartass, you won't be waiting long. there's a whole deathstar
thread over at IC for the record.

i lived in athens, ohio for a few years and saw more fuckin' deathstar than i ever
wanted to. it got to the point where i wouldn't even buy it, i just got sick of it! never
had the desire to grow it because it was everywhere. everyone grew it because she yields
big nugs of 20%+ THC, but not everyone could do her proper.

i'm not really hatin', just saying that captain can do a lot better! i've seen his other grows
and his shit is on point normally, just this plant looks pretty rough and i know she can be
a finicky bitch. :)

oh and since you wanna call me out, how about this plant with less than 90w of LED?
(9 plants under 800w cali light works LED)

You're not going to win any beauty pageants with that.

Imo, captain morgan's recent death star looks a lot healthier. Of course there's always room for improvement as neither look perfect. It does look like a pretty finicky strain.
