UPDATE:

I finished my aero tub for now. I only have 4 sites because my drill broke, but its no matter anyways, I dont have room as you can see.

The plants are looking awesome, and I cant wait till I put a few in the aero.

is it hps or mh? whats your lighting schedule?
Very nice, why the clear plastic tubs tho? :(

Lighting is 18/6 and the light is a 400w HPS with a MH conversion bulb in it.

And the clear plastic tubs are just what i had laying around. Theres not really any root growth around the edge anyways.

Also added a few plants into the aero tub.

there is not much root growth around the container because light is penetrating the soil bro...try some terracotta(those red ones) or black..

do you like those dual spectrum bulbs? do you notice much difference (if experienced with others) in growth? Im looking at getting two 600ws, worth it?

I've found the MH to be much better than HPS in veg. Most people say its not much better, but I disagree. The plants don't stretch as much as they do under HPS, and they seem to be thriving. I even put my seedlings under this thing right after they pop with no problems, and they do better than the ones started under floro tubes.

A 600w would do great, as long as you can control the temp.

temps arent an issue infact I need a heater in the winter..but want dual 600s and will just stick with HPS for flower...I have a veg room with t5 setup...I need to add another 2'x4' setup in there..I agree with ya 100%

Nice grow. People discount veggies too much!

You gotta eat right or there's no point in anything else, right?

Lettuce is especially good for growing indoors. If it's too hot it likes to bolt to seed really quick so you can optimize yield much better under lights.

I've actually gotten more lettuce per plant under 600w equivalent CFL than I grew outside in full sun, just because the plant grew longer and bigger before it flowered.
