As the title suggests how many CFLs would i need, to VEG 7 plants? Mabey 2ft tall?

Ive been looking into hempy buckets and whatnot and i was thinkin bout tryin one out. Im just wonderin like say i start it out in a 16 oz cup then transplant to 3 gal. Would it be hard to transplant? Cuz perlites all loose an stuff, will it just fall out or will the roots kinda hold the perlite...

Ok can i just use like 40watt flourecents that you can buy from wallmart? All that wiring shit together for CFLs is too fucking complicated for my ass, i need simple 1,2,3 get this n that etc. How many 40watts would i need to veg 5 plants up to a foot? :cry::confused:

Ok now i know that using a HPS throughout the entire grow WORKS. Ive HEARD its better to use a HPS AND a MH for veg. Or just a straight up MH. The reason i ask is because before i got my 400watt HPS im using for my current grow, i was using flourecents only and it seemed to be growing faster...

Has anyone done this in the states? If so how does that reflect on you? Like anyone ordering some foxfarms ocean forest, its a lil obvious what they plan on doin with it. Anything to worry about really?
