Is there any reason why I shouldn't plug the controller into an extension cord or power strip? I'm short of wall outlets. I run 600w hps, a .8amp 170cfm fan and a couple small Honeywell floor fans. So: wall outlet->extension cord->power strip->Titan Zephyr 2->timer->lights.

Anyone have a strategy, a cheap strategy, to trip the light if the cooling fan fails?
