Why do you have to use glass jars, if I have too much for the jars I have would it hurt to use a ziploc for some???

I've noticed alot of people having the same problem since the weathers turned so quick. Wet plants, that are ready to harvest, or need to be harvested for whatever reason. Someone yesterday suggested to me, that I wet cure. I thought they were just fucking with me, but now I see it again...

Combo of wind and rain, weighed down then broke a large branch off my girl. Had to hang it up early, shook it off, took off the big fan leaves, and have temp. at about 78 right now trying to completely dry off the visible moisture. Anyone have any other ideas????
