start by chopping off leaves from the top of the plant, in a rythmic pattern. keep the sides intact though, you'll want those for later expanding. I'd say cut about 1/3 of the top off the plant, which can be called "Super-Cropping" if done right. hope that helps.

I agree none of the responses above really answer you what your asking. I would think that after about 3 weeks or a week after roots have started to come out they should be be fine. Especially since you already have them under the 1000w indirectly. Just slowly over a week or so start moving...
