try doing a search on the site before you ask any questions. obviously you don't understand the fact that this is a site mainly based in marijuana discussion which means pretty much anything your going to ask has already been answered. so do your research and stop wasting people time by asking such a question in the advanced cultivating section.

Try looking up the Gumby method, you probably have most of the stuff for that around your house already.

Something to strongly consider when intending to make has is what strain or strains you will make it from. What makes has so potent is not an actual increase in the potency of each individual molecule or particle, or individual resin head, or whatever you chose to call them, of THC.

The potency comes from the amount of collection and concentration of resin heads that of course contain THC in whatever the purest form of hash you can make will give you.

Because of that the whiter the strain, the more trichomes that will be found on more leaf matter the more pure and potent your hash will be, at least when using bubble bags that separate different qualities of hash due to the different amounts of plant material that may be capable of passing through each different micron size screen in each bag.

As I am sure you know making hash is simply removing the trichome heads from leaf matter and collecting them. The more trichomes that are on your leaf/plant matter the more trichome heads there will be to be collected. Regardless of how potent one strain may be over another (of course I am talking about strains that are within reasonable comparison to another strain) if it’s leaf/plant matter has fewer trichomes on it you will not end up with as much hash of the highest potency as a more resin-covered strain will give you.

So picking a very white strain is important because it is the total number of collected trichome heads that are separated and gathered that make or break good hash.

Making hash from plant matter does not increase the actual potency of the THC. It only gathers together more THC into a highly concentrated form so with each toke you take in more of the same level of potency THC as you would find on the plant or plants the hash was made from.

To use totally made up numbers for the ease of simple math if you make hash from a plant that is rated at 20% THC making hash from it does not increase that level of actual THC potency per resin head or molecule or particle or whatever you desire to call it.

What actually causes hash to be so potent is that (again using numbers picked out of thin air just for ease) when you take one toke of the hash you made it is like taking in five tokes of bud from the original plant or plants you made your hash from, the actual level of THC potency itself remains the same as when it was still on the plant. You just take in far more THC of the exact same level of potency as when it was still on the plant per toke.

If you take two tokes of the hash you made it is like taking in 20 hits of bud from the plant or plants you made your hash from. Again the actual potency of the THC itself has not been increased. You are just taking in massively more THC of the same level of potency per toke than when smoking bud due to the greatly increased concentration of the same level of potency THC in the hash.

If you take three hits of the hash you made it is like taking in thirty hits of bud from the original plant or plants you made your hash from that is still the same level of potency THC to the original plant but again you have by then taken in an equal amount of level of. The actual level of THC potency remains the exact same as originally found on the plant or plants but it is like you did a massive number of tokes of the very same level potency THC. It all comes down to levels of concentration of THC per toke.

That all means that the more resin heads you have to separate from your plant matter and then collect into a more concentrated version of matter that contains THC the higher grade hash you will have.

Of course there are some caveats to that especially when making hash using different methods than bubble bags. Like you would need a massive amount of very white plant matter of say only 5% THC potency level (if such a strain exists) to make good hash and a far lesser amount of less crystal covered plant matter would be needed to make an equal grade or higher grade hash if the actual level of THC potency was vastly higher in the less crystal covered plant.

If you made hash from a stain that had a 20% THC potency level that does not produce much plant matter that is thickly covered with trichomes you would end up with better hash making it from a strain that is say rated at 16% or something where most of the plant matter used to make hash was thickly covered with resin heads.

The final denser concentration of THC by that would then be taken in per hit when smoked would more than make up for the difference in original plant level of THC potency.

As long as there is not a really vast difference in the THC potency level between strains quantity of resin heads will far more than make up for massively fewer resin heads with a somewhat higher THC potency rating .. at least when using bubble bags and you are talking about what is found in the last few bags with the smallest micron mesh bottoms.

If you make hash using some other form that does not separate different qualities of hash like bubble bags do then what you end up with is an average of all that is collected including of course any plant matter besides resin heads and if that is the case a strain with a higher THC potency level will make better overall hash but it will still not be as good as what comes from the bubble bags with the finest micron mesh screens. It would instead be like if you used bubble bags and then mixed together all the different grades/qualities of hash gathered by each and every micron-sized screen.

Doing that or using other forms of making hash could be stated by saying it would water down, or average out, your final quality, your overall potency per hit of your hash.

What bubble bags do is give you differing grades of hash. That means say if you have a mooch friend that shows up often in hopes that you will get them high for free you can pull out a lower grade hash to smoke with them because you will have it and you can keep the best for yourself and or your best friends and still be a nice guy and get the mooch high.

Of if you sell your hash you can charge a good bit more for the higher quality hash, that is if you sell your highest quality instead of keeping it for your own stash, and increase your profits.

Also depending on how buzzed you feel like getting at any certain time based on what possible activity you then may engage in you can pick what quality hash you most wish to smoke and therefore achieve the desired buzz instead of only having one grade hash to pick from resulting in a greater or lesser buzz than desired at that particular time.

Bubble bags are the very best way to go if someone is serious about making hash. The combination of their ease of use, (meanig how simple it is to make hash using bubble bags), and the differing quality of each different micron screen collection giving you true variety in quality will still retaining quantity makes bubble bags the best option to chose when it comes to making hash, as does picking a strain that will give you the most crystal covered plant matter to make your hash from.
