My first 2 grows were autoflower, but instead on having to keep buying seeds, I decided on cloning (of course)....Ive had WW, Gigabud, Blue Cheese and Moby Dick plants (all female) vegging for about 7 weeks now, and took clones 6 days ago. I used Dutch Master Replicator root gel and propagation plugs to put the clones in:

Here they are after 6 days!!!

What have i done wrong?

Lights? - They are under T5's, at first about 6-8 inches, now about a foot away.

Temp, Humidity? - Temp is 77-79 F and Hum is at 85% in the dome.

Ive been spraying the clones a couple times a day.....thats pretty much it.

Im not ready to give up...I gotta get this cloning thing down. Any help, id truly appreciate it.

Well, I keep humidity as close to 100% as possible and use a heat mat under the propagation tray. It keeps the inside of the tray at 80-85F. This makes the roots form faster. I get roots in 10-14 days using peat pots and soil mix.

Seedling I heat but for some reason clones seem to do much better for me when it's cooler. I keep mine around 70 degrees. We were just talking about this in another thread.

Way to hot. Drop the temp by 10 degrees. Those plugs look pretty dry too.
sheeeeiiiitt.............i got some clones thriving in 90-95 degree temps! and they pretty much looked like the ones dude has when i cloned em (i let the water dry outta my mother plant and a big portion of the plant wilted) but they stood up within an hour after i took cuttings. his plugs do look too dry. with the high temps i'm dealing with, i have to keep my cubes damn near soaking wet but i usually get roots within 5 days.

I thought the same but I am starting to think that you can clone autos. Even though I dont think he is cloning autos. Wont know for sure until you try. But then again your method could be incorrect for cloning autos.

I thought you couldnot clone autos thats what i heard

you can clone auto's but you can clone anything. if you clone in auto it well not veg it'll still try to atomatically flower. so its pointless imo the best cloning is with a try a heat matt of any kind even ones you buy at walgreens for your shoulder and back. just set it on med. AND peat pellets there awesome. soak them in distill water for3 minutes to get big poke a hole in the dirt and insert your clone boom spray a couple times a day keep temps around 75-80F and 80-100% humidity roots in 7-10 days 100% success rate for me
