Pound Per Plant

Here is something to compare from seed to 10 weeks old and grown out door

then here is week 4 from clone indoor

i dunno man those seedlings look skinny as fuck lol not branching out much in those big pots
must be the genetics or grower lol

this plant grew from seed with 3 weeks total veg
big one yielded 1lb
i do not think its possible i can do this with a clone with only 3 weeks veg
i need 5 weeks veg, to get 1lb + from clone but clones taken during flower grow into very vigorous plants once they get past the re-juv stage

peace

I can do that.. what kind of soil and what nutrients at what week. say I'm running a 4 week veg.
Soil is not really my thing mate, there are many folk here who can give better soil advice
the main thing is choosing a strain that is likely to get big or you will be vegging it for ages
skunk/haze/diesel crosses can explode in flower
find the right plant first from growing seeds and selecting the big producers or get some clones that are known to be produces from someone
any plant can be grown big but why take all that extra time when you can choose the right genetics and it will grow like a tree all by itself

Yo skunk i do not believe there only 3 week old from germination then flipped to that we can scour the net and remote few that might look llke that and its also questionable here is clone out door in 5 x 8 area i kept it low
first pic 2 weeks and rooted second transplanted and 1 week veg under 48 watts next picture second week veg indoor and out door durng the day then 3rd week veg ready for transplant 4th week transplanted
then around 8th week plant is 5 x 7 and so 2 months veg and will pull 4 - 5 pounds dry if i would of left it grow up with minot training she be 13 feet tall by now being sativa dominent gallery_11738_4815_152862.jpgmed_gallery_11738_4818_24122.jpg med_gallery_11738_4880_72045.jpg gallery_11738_4908_107826.jpg med_gallery_11738_4908_113169.jpg

Well, I'm all ears fellas on any pointers you wanna throw out there. I've germinated apx 50 seeds in the last 6 months and not a single one of them were even close to the vigor that I get from my cuts/clones.
weird, I would say 1-2 plants out of about 10-15 I pop I decide to keep around and mother out. So that's about 10-15% that grow better than a clone off of that 10-15% lol, but the ones that do are super amazing.

So in essence, whatever seed that your clones came from grew better than your clones from it.

I can't even hit 1 oz. per plant under 24hr light for months on end. Supposedly 5 gallon fabric pots are too small...

3 weeks veg gives you a one lb plant from seed?? So let's say you germinate a seed today, it pops above soil in a week, then 3 weeks later you flip it to flower and end up with a pound of bud???

I don't want to call bullshit here, but I find that hard to believe.

you're growing under 24 hours veg and then switch til 12/12? 5 gallon smart pots?

I graduate from 1 gallon plastic (after rooting clones) to 5 gal smart pots. Total veg time is maybe 4 months? Didn't keep track. Got 11ish grams of cured flower from one L.A. Confidential that was maybe 2' tall. I'm getting apx 14 hours of sunlight and 10 hr of MH 600W at night.

Plants will flip mid summer away from the 600W. I move them out in full sun during the day.

Food includes (per 5 gal)
2.5 oz.
Alaska Fish emulsion
Kelp extract
Molasses

1.25oz.
10-10-5 grow

15 oz.
urine (yeah, go ahead and gag)

Occasional Vitamin B @ 2.5 oz.

water pH 5.5-6.5, sometimes lower.

Grown in Fox Farm Ocean Forest w additional perlite.

Think it's genetics? I change nutrient ratios for flower. The tap water is pretty hard. Plenty of calcium and magnesium.

My base water is usually pond water. Fish poop. Aquaponics.

the vit b in flower can reduce flower size from maximum to finish now so to speak. as it enables SAR response (look it up) ... thiamine (vit B1) esp/!!

also if you see defoliation in late flower or the reverse lots of foliage light leaks and too much "N" can be the cause not to little ... alaska fish is 5-1-1 and yo fed 10-10-5. might try none of that till you see the soil play out then feed in a pyramid form little to big amt to little and so forth .
i some times use roots HPK product in a castings tea (1/3 rate!!) and it asks the plants kindly (lol) make more fruit and fungal hyphe....

its genetics pal, i grew 3 oz plants on the same run, perhaps you should read the thread
don't be ignorant
wow i need some of that !! guess i should cuz extrapolated in my greenhouse i get 8-10 weeks veg guess that fits with 3-4lbs plants depending on genetics :) sorry to be a hater:(
