Pound Per Plant

Running efficient hydroponics with only essential nutrients to achieve max veg rates and grow the genetics to its max potential in terms of quality and quantity is actually pretty special for many, especially those more concerned about gardening with dirt.
Speaking of condescending arseholes...

I've grown hydroponically. I'm aware of the potential for yield. I'm concerned with quality though. Dirt just happens to be an important aspect of that. I'm a caregiver with restrictions on how much flower I can have at any one time, so 16 ounces of Big Bud doesn't much interest me.

I see a lot of folks that claim to grow 2 pounds under one 1000w light in 4 months and they're liars.

What about the light footprint? Its only so big. I guess if its full of seeds it could weigh a pound seeds are heavy.

I think you must have meant 2 lbs from one plant under 1000 watt hps in that time frame, because 2 lbs total in 4 months from a 1k hps isn't all that great(I would say its bad in that time allotment). 4 months is a long time to take to hit 2lbs with a 1k. With 2 months of veg time, for the 4 months cycle, if you can't pull 2ps on 1k watts you should probably quit growing and just buy your nug, lol.

You guys must have bought your scales from the cops. Yup plant a seed and 4 months later you got 2 pounds of bud just like that easy peasy
Not exactly, but in 4 months in a 5x5 you could have 100 plants that have way overgrown your space, and if you could keep control of them/effectively light the entire budsite area you would pull a hell of a lot more than 2 lbs off that hps... If you pulled 9 grams a plant you'd be over 2 pounds.

i have already posted several times its "genetics" its not something i am claiming "credit"
for, like i did something special to make it yield 1lb in this time frame,
that plant with enough rooting space would of achieved similar yield in the hands of any competent gardener that could keep it healthy through its lifespan

but thanks anyway

peace :)
Well I'm relatively new to the controlled growing techniques but it has become glaringly obvious that if the room and method is not dialed in, yields suffer, trust me I know lol. I grew up being the Johnny Appleseed of growers, planting large numbers and just hoping the girls would do well outdoors lol. To pull consistently large yields it is a combination of strain, grower, and a bit of good old luck lol. Dont sell yourself short if you are getting those yields. Again a pound in 12-14 weeks total is amazing IMO.

Its not amazing its genetics, i grew angelheat the smallest yielding pheno was just over 2 oz, another pheno was 6 oz and one was 21 oz

the problem i think is many people only grow OG kush whatever or indica, so are not aware of the huge vigour sativa phenos can have during flower

when you flower a plant at 3 weeks veg, it continues to "grow" on the 12 hour period,
this stretch stage of growth is by far the fastest and most vigorous growing phase of a cannabis plants life , so much so that the vigor a plant shows during veg
on a 16-24 hour photoperiod becomes irrelevant,

a plant that can grow fast during the veg period can be dwarfed by plant
that will explode during flower

plants can grow several feet in a couple of weeks, they produce numerous branches and bud sites

What about the light footprint? Its only so big. .
i grew a plant not so long ago that required 3 lights, 3x600

there is no law that states you're only allowed 1 light per plant

you can call me a bullshitter if you like, make some not so witty remarks or ask for a link to the thread LOL

Did a 6 week veg before putting my outdoor monster in June. Currently a 6 foot tall bush in a 24 gallon with buds everywhere. Hoping for a pound

What you do and do not agree with is of no relevance to me, you're an ignorant idiot as far as i am concerned
why on earth would i care if an idiot like you believes me ?

what i do find offensive is you thinking you can call me a bullshitter without reading my thread, what a lazy cunt you are

You call bullshit on what you do not understand, this is real easy to do,
some people fear what they do not understand so they attack it

you have read my thread now and you are going to appolagise for your error ?
i documented the veg stage of the seedlings on virtually a daily basis there is noway you can deny those seedlings grew in 3 weeks and one of the plants produced 1lb
this is nothing special to me,

why it would upset you, or damage your growing self esteem is your problem

post some pictures of the 1lb plants you have grown because you want to contribute something positive to the thread
rather than hurling cries of shit wolf without foundation

Lol! The guy that spends each and every day on a pot forum arguing with Uncle Buck... calling someone else an idiot. That's good.

Your plants are crispy and look like shit btw. :-)

So you have no plants to post that produced 1lb ?

Any information to contribute to the thread on how to grow 1lb plants ?

Skunk if your getting that from germination 3 weeks then flip your still going to be vegging 5 - 6 weeks till she matures even on 12 / 12 reg beans so inreality it would be safe to say the plant is in veg for 6 - 7 weeks where as i am getting 14 - 18 consistent oz @ 5 Weeks veg per plant with training from clones.. I am a firm believer from my experience that clones being mature will grow faster then seeds Again from my experience clones are like hardened ready for intense lighting where seedlings are to delicate at the beginning so most growers slowly up power

Of course you can get 2 pounds per 1000 watt..4 months from seed is fast Imo add on another 15 days minimum. Not 2 far off but it's off.. buy gavita 1000 watt De pros then you can pull 3 lbs a light if you're pimp enough.
