1. Coverage can be overcome by using multiple panels. Growing in enclosed areas with reflective properties also helps.
2. Intensity can be overcome by using 3w or higher leds and getting the lights as close to the canopy as possible without bleaching. Again, enclosed grow spaces with reflective properties are ideal.
3. Density isn't an issue if you arent having intensity issues. Or try some flower hardeners.

Hope this helps some understand that growing with leds takes some thought and to get the best results you need to have a good environment.

I apologize but I read this as "If you want to grow with LEDs, understand it will cost you a fortune."

Depends on your definition of a "fortune" but I was comfortable with my expenses
As I understand, you must get at least the panels with 3W leds, I'm no electricial whiz so it's not like I can really DIY this thing, gotta buy carefully - reliable and trusted brands, that are more expensive. For a set-up like you're talking about would be several thousand, yes?

Well it depends how big you are trying to go...but yes, you want to get a 3w or higher panel from a reputable company preferably with a good warranty to protect your investment.

Thankyou for proving me right with your first 2 points , Growing in enclosed areas = micro-closet grows , were talking large scale remember ? Answer 3 is just a washout and you know it.
It would cost 2K a panel to replace my 5x600 hps lights , thats 10k and still they are not as good , shall i make the 3 problem points again ?
also point 2 contridicts point 1 , to close , coverage was lost.

Dude, you're not the fucking know-it-all of LED growing. You fucking had a terrible experience with LEDs so now you think everything you say is law. Everything you are talking about me being wrong and talk of facts is nothing more than your bullshit opinion.

To the suggestions I made:
1. It is absolutely possible to have a large scale grow, but say with multiple 4x4 areas for example, each 4x4 would have reflective properties around the perimeter. Are you fucking too stupid to see this as being possible?
2. Where does anything I say about intensity prove anything you've said? Am I just missing this?
3. It might be a wash, but it was the issue that you mentioned...so, maybe you should have listed them as one and the same?

If the only LED you can find to replace a 600w hps costs 2 grand then there is more evidence that you fucking suck at researching.

Point 2 does not contradict point 1 bro...point 1 says that if you want to cover more area, then add more panels...point 2 says to get them as close as possible for maximum intensity...adding more panels = increased coverage...lowering panels = increased intensity...fucking logic bro, apparently you don't have any.

This is the last time I'm going to have these kinds of conversations with you Clonex...it's blatantly clear that you have developed or own opinion on this topic and you will not be changing it: I'm ok with that. Why can't you be ok with me having my own?

In other words...GET FUCKED!

Everyone reading, please realize I've already had exchanges with Clonex in the past and he obviously knows how to push my buttons by not showing any respect.

Your an idiot , multiple 4x4 grows ??? wtf ,
LEDS have no place in large scale commercial grows (yet) and you know it ya sulking baby , god you make me laugh!!

Show me a panel that does not cost 2k that could get anywhere near a 600hps ?
Lowering your led panels closer loses coverage you pompous fukka fgs,
i would need 20 such panels,
now just because you blew your bank balance on shitty led panels to grow in shoe box's keep ya nickers on and wind ya neck in....

I thought I would add my two cents on my experience with LED...

I use an 90w UFO LED light for my clones and I am happy with the results....Let me explain why I am happy....It seams to be easy on the cuttings ...they don't make a lot of heat...low cost to have it on 24/7....and I get by with vegging for up to eight weeks while I wait for my grow room to open up....That is all I use it for...I use 4 1000w HPS to grow and bloom with....

Here are some pic's of some clones after 22 days....using the LED...The roots are fairly productive...but the growth is slow....So for what I use it for I have been happy....
