Where i live there are like 5 nursery's within a 5 mile radius. These places have huge piles of soil in which some of it doesnt get used.. I know a couple of them personally and im sure theyd give me a few buckets of soil. I was just wondering if this stuff would be as good to grow in as other soils such as fox farm? Im still a noob and ive never grown in soil before so i was just wondering...

normally I would say yes. but since you know one or more of them simply ask whats in it? what plants or trees are they using it for. some nursery soils are full ot twigs and compost and make it hard for seedling and clones to root well. they dont seem to get around twigs to well...

It seems like its pretty good soil. It feels good to the touch anyways.. I'll have to ask what types of trees their using the soil for. Thanks! :D
