World Of Hempy

Day 49 and im finding amber. Im glad since i made a decision to chop at 8 weeks to keep a schedule. Gods gift is the only one looking like it should go 10 weeks a few would im sure benefit from 9 weeks but itll still be good smoke and looks like ill have plenty smoke..and i guess if a week from now the majority looks like it really need another week my better sense will prob win out. Some of my crosses are smelling so fantastic it must be that maui wowie coming out. Ive only ever grown a male maui wowie hah! Smells tropical. I gave away my cuttings from my crosses away when i found the hermies but they are doing em all in a greenhouse. I think i may grab some cuts of one pheno. Got two plants that show same features andnthey both have 3 dominant colas with a good 10-14 grams on each cola if my estimates are good. Solid as a rock. So dense that i pried em open to make sure no rot . Nice short girls too maybe 25-30 inches tall. Be a sweet sog or if i had patience scrog girl. Ill get some good pics when i trim em up.

This is a little confusing to me. Looking on Attitude at 'Lowlife AUTO Lemon Skunk'.

Its advertised as an AUTO but they sell fem AND reg seeds. Also in the blurb there is no mention of when it finishes or of Ruderalis in its make-up. Maybe I'm missing something.

yea it doesnt say how long but anything crossed to lowryder wont be able to be cloned. sounds like a good auto to try tho...

Just a thought, I'm thinking of changing my Ghetto Grow box to 12/12 so I can sex my plants, I found 5 males this weekend, some of them where nice plants and I have wasted so much time raising them,

Will the T5 light work for 12/12 sexing? It's a cool white bulb used for veging.

The hempy's are now full time in the HPS room (20/4 on/off), except I move the two buckets into the sun when shining


The soil capped hempy's are doing better than the normal ones, could be just coincidence.....but the buckets are way behind the 2L pop bottles


The dwarfed dirt dweller spends her 12 day hours in the HPS room, but is moved to a dark room for 12 night hours...she has a few little buds, doubt she will produce much.

This is no coincidence my friend. Witness the power of the '2L' Hempy. .. Because the bucket is so narrow (4" diameter) the roots are forced down towards the res faster than the larger Hempy's. They really explode with growth.

but there is a trade off.

The smaller sized bucket becomes root-bound quicker. .. After 8-10 weeks of growth the bucket has no more space for root growth and can be rootbound. This can only be a negative when it comes to bud size and a 2L will always yield less than a larger bucket.

For this reason I always try and use the full height of the 2L and fill with as much substrate as possible whilst minimizing the bucket's lip.

Your buckets look great dude. Do you place them in an outer shell container as you had in your previous design?

thanks Moe...the one bucket had a leak so I bought another as an outer sleeve/shell....it worked so well that I bought an extra one for the other good bucket

I assumed the buckets would be slower out of the gate as they have spend more energy growing roots, just hope they pick up the pace soon.

The coincidence I was referring to was the soil capped verses the non-soil capped (buckets and 2L)...is this just fluke or is the soil helping that much?

yeah i know ,no it wasnt an auto but i got a free one of those aswell ,havnt tried autos with hempies dont fancy it .hows the royal cheese smoking ?

Smokes OK but not cheesy enough to be called 'Cheese' IMO. ..... I would not recommend growing it.

I discovered yesterday I had more in my grow-room than expected. I thought I had 4 but had put in 18. ... I'm considering pulling them even though they've had 4 weeks bloom not sure I want them taking space for another 4-5 weeks.

dealt with both lots of times any problems dealt with really well ,you can call the dude at herbs if you have any probs or to order ,i use attitute mostly now because of their freebies ,they missed one of my free pineapple skunks last order and when i told them they gave me 2 free nice
