oh no that bad eh ? those purps look tastey ,been away for a week theres a lot been happening .
tbh .. that bad.

I'm not overly pissed. But I think i'll cut my loses when lights up. ... its a shame because I have some really healthy plants.

I really need peeps to be biting off my arm to take my weed and the R.Cheese is not THAT weed. .... GDP is though and a test bud I sent out has caused the reaction I anticipated.

Just a thought, I'm thinking of changing my Ghetto Grow box to 12/12 so I can sex my plants, I found 5 males this weekend, some of them where nice plants and I have wasted so much time raising them,

Will the T5 light work for 12/12 sexing? It's a cool white bulb used for veging.

Oh yeah germing 2 mazar kush seeds and 2 Bubba Kush seeds
Any light will work for sexing. It is the change in the number of hours of light that forces flowering.

Thank You stone slacker...I was just not sure if I needed to change t5 bulbs for sure...I was not sure if it would help...I want to keep a few nice but ready plants in the Ghetto that way if I have a chance I will...So vegging under those lights have been nice, not so much heat, so I don't have to run a fan to cool it.

Ok day at work today, I'm so hesitant in going :( I took Thur, Fri, Sat and Sunday off, so I needed to go today.

But did score some pallets to be used for some cool projects, brought home 16 so It's going to be the flooring Platform for my greenhouse. Guy who loaded it and tied it off said he was a Scout Leader...well learn how to make a Knot. He tied like a girl....I got 1/2 mile down the road and had to stop and retie the whole thing myself. And I gave them dudes a Tip......

So if I'm home for a bit a project might be a great idea.

I'm thinking if the Greenhouse is built on pallets I may make it moveable....Since we have a nice farm tractor....hmmm

thanks Moe...the one bucket had a leak so I bought another as an outer sleeve/shell....it worked so well that I bought an extra one for the other good bucket

I assumed the buckets would be slower out of the gate as they have spend more energy growing roots, just hope they pick up the pace soon.

The coincidence I was referring to was the soil capped verses the non-soil capped (buckets and 2L)...is this just fluke or is the soil helping that much?
No coincidence, IMO when growing in perlite the soil cap creates a better air / moisture environment within the perlite. Keep us posted as your grow proceeds.

I agree Watt, I just went and looked at my plants the ones with a soil cap Or Coco and a Perlite res, seem to be my best plants too....

Having a small oscillating fan is good for strengthening the plant too. It also helps the plant transpire through the leaf and in turn increases growth of the roots.

...............

I like the idea of your greenhouse, although with all that glass you probably won't be moving it too often.

Hey Moe, you've broke down quite a few prel/verm bottles, what have you seen in root mass in the upper 2" (5cm) of the medium?

In the ones I've done I didn't see the heavy root mass start till around the 2" mark. And the roots got scarcer from there on up.

Anyone else who has done some break down work is welcome to chime in, just lookin' for some general info.

Moe, That might have to be a consideration. But for now I have a plan, I'm going to have one of my sons make me some kind of anchors for it, he needs a project anyway...I'm going to lag bolt some sections and ziptie some...make it easier to reconfigure, if I build it with that in mind to begin with I'll make a better plan...I also found some old semi truck mudflaps and I'm going to mount them under the pallets and attach them, kinda like the Moving men sliders for furniture...so if it slides in one piece and anchors in place I have 5 acres I could cover with it, to find the perfect location...

Still formulating the plan, laid out a few pallets and saw a few different sizes, so I may wait a bit till I have a better size idea...Power yes or no/ Not sure yet, maybe 12 volt fans with solar chargers.

The benefit of moving is the fact that I have building about 40 x 30 that it could park in over the cold winters. Door height is 12 feet, so it is reasonable. Doors on both ends, so it could be pulled thru Used to store Farm Tractors

Watt could it be the way they are planted, some people plant on top, some plant in the middle and some people drop down and add soil to the plant as it grows...I do mine as soon as I have room for them, so it could be anyway depending on the size too?

The last plants I just cut were in straight perlite, the ones in a 2 gallon bucket were not very deep. Maybe a half inch under the surface, they were not root bound either which is what I first attributed it too. After further inspection they had started high on the stem right at the media line and grew laterally. I did notice that the root ball was not as compact as it gets in soil but that main roots were thicker and branched more. Of course I had hydroton in the res and perlite on top, lessoned learned DON'T DO that it's a mess to clean. I found my 3.5 gallon buckets mor root bound than the 2's but overall I'll stick with the 3.5's because of the volume I got back.

Well going through my from seed plants at least half are looking more like they are gonna take 63-70 days. Only a few of them and for sure the Skunk will be nice by day 56. Looks like i might have to push schedule back a bit and maybe bribe my sister to watch my crop for a week this summer. The majority of my from seed plants are actually busting with new growth. I really have to give using a PK booster credit. Never been one for all the additives but some of these buds are looking like some of my largest ever off 600 watt lights. They aint huge but they are getting damn nice.

The gods'gift (pic of lanky ones under hps) are sure damn viney for indica dominant.

I use RO mostly because my Tap water is HORRIBLE! OK Maybe not Horrible, but nothing I will drink, so I would rather start from scratch. Since there is nothing in RO Water, then the ladies only get what you give them. I dont know if RO is better than anything else, but it works for me.

Downside is the amount of wasted water just to make a little RO

More fun with 2L soda bottles.....would love to shoot some of these over Korea's border onto Kim Jong-un's lawn.

We just need to take out north Koreas government. This Kim Jung un is just a problem waiting to happen... china and Russia might get mad but they are not going to war over north Koreas stupidity. Not to mention china is heavily invested in the US so they wouldn't risk war with us. And Russia just isn't as strong a military as it once was. Its in everyone's best interest to remove north Korea from the picture to ensure peace in the region. Kim Jung un needs to smoke a bowl and relax on this nuclear weapons fiasco.
