woman given 20 years in prison for miscarriage

Well here the facts, she was pregnant and did something to have a miscarriage, then through the baby in a dumpster. So um if she didn't intentionally mean to kill her baby while it was in side of her, then why would she through the baby in a dumpster? Suspicious much?

how would one go about throughing a baby?

and why would it be a crime to induce an abortion or miscarriage at 23-25 weeks?

and why would it be a crime to dispose of a stillborn fetus?
