Why should marijuana be legal? post your reasons

I continue to hear it'll be better for the U.S.A but all I can see is cons. Everyone continues to say Obama will legalize it this n that, he's from IL there's nothing lax that he's pushed for in his own state. Why the fuck are people so naive when it comes to legalization?
I totally don't want it to be legal at all for many reason's.

I can't help but think that everyone wants it to b legal so they can smoke outside without being caught. WTF stop getting caught smoking, that's no good reason for weed to be legal.

What do you stand for?

Do you seriously want the gov't controlling the weed market? Adding addictive properties and shit. I don't know about you but I don't want the gov't handling my weed. Make it legal and I'll still grow and buy wholesale from dealers never Ganjacorp.

I can basically smoke anywhere i want without having to worry so much.
violence will no doubt go through the roof if legalized. I know of at-least 12 people now that will willingly commit acts of violence if legalized.
Think of the US as a whole committing violence to get some weed? They wouldn't even have to use guns etc. since more punks will be smoking weed.

ite, I noticed in your other posts that you would only grow and never buy, but what about the country as a whole?

You sounded like you only thought about the pro's it does for you and not the cons of it affecting the U.S. as a whole.

i would buy if there was some good shit out there ... but i have to grow it to get the quality i want ...

decriminalization!! Its a plant god made.... that point there kills any other argument. Its a natural plant thats not chemically processed and is alot safer than alcohol or any of the hard drugs!

the main one is letting people get their medicine. and we can do that with med mj

ya, the odds of it happening widespread are low.

I also can't think of a single robbery of someone coming out of a dispensary. But I could also see why they wouldn't get reported since that could hurt the legalization cause.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for across the board legalization.
Look at alcohol. Plenty of fine blends available at any State Liquor store, yet there's nothing like properly stilled shine, and plenty of otherwise law abiding citizens still making it . . . the Fed's be damned!
Government taking over weed will accomplish nothing. I've been growing my stash since the 60's and can't see stopping now.

weed should be legal...because i want it to be. point. blank. period.
plus im tired of buying it...make it legal so i dont have to hide my grows.
