Why Flush?

snap crakle pop... you ever smoked a bowl...and after you light it you see some sparks come off it...theres your answer. I would say does change the taste. You want your plant in the last weeks to brake down all the natural sugars in leaf. Adding nutes during the end of your plants life cycle does not allow the plant to do this as effectively thus changing the flavor and flooding the oils and resin being produced with nutes instead of sweet sugar leaf juice:weed: take it for what you will but I'm not a doctor so
There's no scientific study behind your statement here, people see unidentified flying objects all the time and then immediately say "There from another world". no proof = no proof.

I don't flush at all..even if I overfert...all the water just adds the the issue...
I also don't feed my plants for the last few weeks either...So I guess that is kind of like flushing...but not really...they just get plain water for the last couple of weeks usually.

Weed that isn't dried all the way will spark...as will seeds and what not..I have never ever had dry weed pop and I have had some really cruddy weed purchases in my day...lol.

The best way to end this argument is stop feeding one plant for two weeks as some suggest and feed another plant till harvest. Harvest and cure buds until completion and then have them both lab tested to see whats inside! From a trusted lab of course.

The #1 surprising thing that I have found since starting to grow is how little everyone knows. I am in no way, shape, or form pointing at any person or rollitup, but sure as a motherfucker take a dozen growers of 20 years and put them in a room and see what they agree on. Not a fucking thing.

As far as flushing goes, I doubt like fuck this in across the board deal. Strain, medium, nutes, feeding schedule all that shit will factor. If we took 2 plants that were at 7 weeks out of everyone's garden here, those plants would be different as fuck per grower. At that point, I am sure some of the plants will be perfect, most - far from it. So what I am saying is take 50 different palnts from 50 different growers @ 7 weeks and I will guess from a common sense standpoint, that some WILL need to be flushed, many not.

Some plants take really light nutes, some heavy. Who thinks they are in the same shape at 7 weeks? I dont. But this thread has made me think, that is what I am after.

I don't flush, or starve my coco plants though, now that we mention it... and no issues with taste or popping there either.

Again, this is guessing.

Well I have grown and smoked a lot of pot...flushed, not flushed, underfed, overfed...whatever...and no popping as long as it is dry...and the thing about weed that isn't flushed not turning to white ashes is also ludicrous...I mean you can burn anything til it is white...and before it burns hot enough to white ash, it first becomes black ash with some substance to it...you keep burning and it turns white and well, ashy...lol.
That isn't guessing...nothing I said there was guessing...
People saying that the weed won't burn right if it isn't flushed just isn't true...if it was then paper that is covered in chemicals would pop and crackle when you burn it, and turn into black ashes...as opposed to the fact that it burns fast and quiet, and is reduced to white ashes..lol.

I've done it, 4 different samples lab tested showed no chemical residues in my "unflushed" buds.

Again Sir I am not a doctor, just a man with a few tents, few lights and a few plants. I just take from my own experience and experimentation.

Perhaps this is a lil more scientific for you....

That's not science, that's bullshit... sorry... :bigjoint:

Plants can't even absorb sucrose through their roots, it just feeds beneficials if anything.
