Why does my harvest always come out like this??

Very Airy, not dense and hard at all, doesn't smell too strong at all. Its not bad, but I want those super dense frosty nugs.

It is not the genetics because I gave someone some clones who grew GREAT stuff off the same genetics.

General hydro 3 part, veg 8 weeks, flower 8 weeks, under 1,000watt bulbs, soil.

I think it may be getting too hot.

Do they look bad?? Be honest guys...

hmmm...the pics still won't work for me..says the site is "dangerous"...anyway...

Ummm...some strains aren't as dense, but if other people are growing clones of yours and getting the results you want then I am here to tell you about the dangers of chronic overfeeding... It causes a lot more than burnt leaf tips...it can also greatly decrease your yield and potency...for real...It can't be your lights, I mean I only run a 400w with super results...so you should be able to run 1000w and get super duper results...lol.

I would have to say it is the nutes, or rather the amount used, or the frequency given...

We sometimes think that the more nutes = more bud...but it is nearly the opposite... Better to give too little and maybe lose a couple grams than use too much and lose a few ounces...lol

contrary to a lot of the fucking jokers on here (apologise to sensitive fucking jokers on here) , there is indeed too much available light and most certainly (usually undisputed) too much heat. I have found DWC can survive the onslaught of light, but flood/drain and soil can really suffer by not getting the nutrients required. Whispy buds will follow!

popcorn buds in my experience come from poor basic variables such as temp, relative humidity and light proximity.

A lot of people think their environments are dialled in because the plant is veg'ing brilliantly. they are easy as hell to veg nicely! When switching over to flower though, lower RH and temps + lowering of light will make a huge difference for yield/quality. Like all things, there are no magic numbers. Lots of sitting and observing will make a difference. really try and reduce that humidity for flowering, which might even require changing your setup. I had a lot of humidity problems in my new place after being a die hard SOG flood/drain gardener. Now I use DWC to combat humid and warm root zones that were messing up my yield and quality at the same time as reducing RH at the plant height which was hard to keep below 70% even with aircon! I used coco instead which was more resilient to high temps / humidity first, and it was better than clay, but still not half as good as It had been. Hence the entire system change. DWC is back to business, and when dialled in, not that fiddly really. I don't touch it until res changes every two weeks.

I usually mess with shitty genetics and still get really good quality buds. smell amazing, lots of trichomes, as dense as a no name gets. environment > genetics ! (In my experience, quality unknown genes grown well will smoke better than great gene's popcorn)

85deg seems like thats a little hot! Shine a light on yourself and have it be 85degrees plus for 12 hours straight and see how tight you are after 8 weeks! LOL

I have the exact same issue, single blade leaves, stretchy buds . I will follow to see your results. What are your night time temps? I have been battling high temps. but I am not convinced this is the only cause.

Wow with all that ammo you should be doing better than that are you using any co2? Also any kind of fans? Light breezes will help with strength and maybe adding a bit more co2 ..

I've had similar problems when I first got into growing it can be such a wide variety of things, first would be heat issues and humidity, room temps should not go over 85 IMO I let my room peak at 83-84 degrees now. Also rh shouldn't go under 15% or over 55-60% rh anything over can start to cause problems. Then check your nutes, my problem was that I wasn't using the correct bloom booster at the right time, also you should look into carb loading if your doing co2. My Plants literally get 3x denser when I start the carb loading. I prefer to use molasses because it can be used as a carb loader, and it makes them gooey rather then a sticky. But yeah the general hydro 3 part series is amazing, You can checkout some of my buds produced from it on my thread.

yeah 85 getting up there but i have a helluva time keeping mine under 80 as well, but i don't have these problems. If your having heat issues the plants will usually tell you.(leaf curl, spots ,bleaching)
