Who actually harvests before 7 weeks

i think he meant it was 3 weeks early as well as wet. which i would still consider that being both getting a shit deal, if it was 250g 3 wks early it prolly would have been 750 - 1000g when done.
haha yea ... he was pissed at me, and i was pissed kus i couldve pinched some for myself plsu i couldve made more... Pe@ce..

when do you guys count your flowering days??? i'm assuming the breeders are talking 6-8 weeks when the first flowers form or preflowers/sex... not when you put it into 12/12 that is what triggers the flowering.. take 2 weeks off your numbers and see if they get closer to the real amount.. that is if you are counting from the day you go 12/12...

Generally I already have preflowers as well when I go 12/12. Some strains seem to take longer and if there are no preflowers I start counting from the time I see the first hairs.

Hey ma
Speaking of hairs......
my buds were mesmerizing me today. I went nuts with the camera this morning LOL
Ill have to come over and see your ladies this weekend

stoney, how long you been flowerin those and how long you gonna let those ladies go?

flowering time starts the minute you switch to 12/12.

just about 8 weeks, I already started leeching. Im hoping for a 4-20 chop but whatever happens is fine with me. So it will be about 9.5 weeks

8 weeks since they started flowering. Only took 5 days after switching to 12/12 though so not a big difference
59 days of 12/12 right now

That used to throw me for a loop...thanks. Damn, I guess now that I look back at my calender, I actually let mine go an entire 86 days....and I thought I had actually been impatient when I did harvest.
It seems to only make sense to harvest early in some situations. Say, if you get a bad spider mite problem, and you need to attack the lil bastards on a schedule....those last two or three weeks you needed to really fatten that bud are now in question. I like my flowers pure and clean.....no additives, natural or not. Why not get to them before they do?
Also, YES......I am one of those who does some pre-tasting. I've been reamed for shit for doing it too, LOL. I still say I'm doing the right thing. I don't think there's anything SO terribly wrong with grabbing a lil bud from the middle or top. I'm not going to likely be re-vegging this plant anyway.
I had one partiuclar plant that had some VERY small buds no matter how long you leave them to flower. I'll tell you right now. Those flowers I harvested earlier were the BEST. You can let a strain go too long. You can so easily miss that window in a matter of days I say. Unfortunately, I only have indica seeds. My personal preference is to take them earlier than I probably should. I hate the "stoned" feeling. I have 2 harvests from one plant. The earlier is much more uplifting and to my liking.

Jake those are looking great. Can not wait for the taste test :)

Still have not chopped my early bagseed girl. Only around 15% amber so going to wait till next weekend. That will put her finishing at around 6.5 weeks if I do indeed chop then.

I have seen this in a couple of books but havent tried it.
I have tried the 36-72 hours of darkness after chop. That does really work

my buddy gives them the 24/hr darkness when switching to flower. icant tell a difference but he says he can...... doin it like nature just makes more sense..Pe@ce..
