Who actually harvests before 7 weeks

It's been a bonding experience. StoneyJake and I only live a few blocks from each other so its great talking about our new hobby.

We can exchange clones as well as DVDs :)

thats great. it was the same with me and my pops when he first taught me how to grow....and he doesnt even smoke anymore! now im lightyears ahead of him and hes the one learning from me!

pot has actually helped me bond with both my P's....and they say its an aweful drug!:wall:
 
Arent the indicas and afghanicas cultivated around the Himalayan foothills, kashmere, afghanistan, Pakistan known for thier short flowering time? Hash plants I believe are afghanicas. Sensi hash plant supposedly finishes in 45 days along with strains like maple leaf indica, first lady, shiva skunk and others. Black domina finishes in 50 I think.
 
for fuck sake. ive only read the first few posts and its pissed me off.

it depends on the strain. i have grown plants that have a 6 week flower period. so yes i have harvested earlier than 7 weeks. ive also grown other strains that are 10 week strains.

theres also quite a few 7 week flowering strains so it is possible to harvest before.

:weed:where can i get the blue moonshine strain from? i live in the states and am currently looking for some other place to order my seeds from rather than nirvana
 
You can get it from attitude seeds, or from seedboutique where I got it from... It was almost done too, a couple weeks left to go when i had to brutally murder her and her sisters due to security issues... ahhh well.. I have several more packs of seeds for future including an unopened Blue Moonshine! and I did give a few to friends who only had room for 5 of mine so at least Ill get to try it I guess... Believe me when I say how sad it is to crush up gorgeous plants that have a few weeks left that youve cared for for months... it was such a bad night for me.. Oh well, gonna start back up on 4/20

What were the strains you grew that you harvested before 7 weeks?

I want these.
 
The seed growers do test on these strains and they look at thc production and weight it a buisness over there. there not growing 4 5 20 plants they are farmers thousands of plants so there would be no beifit for them to let it grow longer. Most of us grow for smoke so we want the best we can grow you want that plant to shimmer with thc like it just snowed. In europe they charge more for weed that takes longer to grow they feel if they grow a 45 day strain they could get more harvest a year compared to 75 80 day strain it's an industri over there
 
Harvesting time frames are a personal choice. Some like to harvest earlier despite the comments that it's a newbie, foolish mistake. Harvesting a bit early on a Sativa strain gives you a more cerebral, functional high. For example this may be desireable for med users who still have to function during the day. A later harvest on an Indica strain may help that same person sleep at night.
 
haha. i sold about 250grams wet to some guy for 300 bucks... i told him it needed like 3 more weeks, and he said he could still sell it.... ends up bein pissed at me haha.. people dont understand.. gotta be patient, get all the funky colors in those last weeks.. Pe@ce..

so did you get ripped off or was it just shitty weed? 250g of wet buds will still dry out to be a couple oz's in my opinion.. good deal for the other guy.

i think he meant it was 3 weeks early as well as wet. which i would still consider that being both getting a shit deal, if it was 250g 3 wks early it prolly would have been 750 - 1000g when done.
 
I harvest at 5-6 weeks in my aerogrows. Buds are well done at this point. I veg for 10 days from clone root. The strain I use for this si a direct clone from the mother plant used in indiana to create what is now known as bubble gum. There are no seeds for this strain its a passed along cutting only and I know only 8 others in the world who have it still.I plan to back cross it and feminize seed sopme and see how it goes for stability
