Ive got white powder on my lower fan leafs. not very thick almost didnt see it just kinda looked feint white dots then i touched it and it was powdery. Im ending the 3rd week of flowering my buds just started 4 days ago. Is it going to be safe to use a neem oil spray on these leafs or is there another option (im not dunking my plants in milk) they are in hydro flood table.

Was looking at this schultz fungicide 3. Let me know please. thanks

sounds almost like a type of mold not bugs which neem oil would be used for . pics would be nice as well as your humidity and temp ranges

104_0276.jpgTemp is 78 day time 65 at night humidity is 60-70. I know my humidity is high. I dont have room in my tent for a dehumidifier I bought one of those absorber deals think its called eva dry. I got a fan blowing all the time. tried taking a pic its so faint the camera dont pick it up.

Yeah, you can use neem, and although it might not stop it completely, it'll definitely help slow it down and stop it from spreading. I'd try it before any chemical solution, since you're flowering. If you can get the humidity down into the 40's, you might be able to stop it completely, if it's just starting.

Are your fans blowing at night, too? I know you said "constantly", but just making sure.lol

yeah that oscialting fan blows all night and my vent fan for my light blows all night i just added another fan. IM thinking about puting a sheet of black plastic over the table that might help bring the humidity down. its ussualy at 60 but for2 hours after it floods its 70 so.

I've never had to battle PM on fill-sized plants, but was successful with some clones I got from a buddy, that were started as cuttings. By week 2, the PM was gone, and all I used was neem, air circulation, and humidity in the low 40's. I know that doesn't help much, I'm just saying that neem can work, under the right conditions.

Hmm... if they are lower leaves, it might be a good idea to snip off the worst ones, a couple at a time, then wait a few days, if you are going to cut any more. That'll help a little, controlling it spreading, but, spraying neem will help more, especially with the unaffected leaves. Idk man, with the humidity that high, you might want to go with a light chemical treatment, as well, before it get's any later into flowering. Tough call, idk what I'd do. I'd definitely start he neem right now, while deciding, I know that. Any possibility of upping the carbon filter setup? Mine really lowers the RH quite a bit,(at least 10%) by drawing the air from the growroom, and might be helpful in your case.

I dont use a carbon filter. I might go buy one i just vent the smell dont bother me but if it helps. Also when spraying that should i put it on everything even the buds? IM kinda concerned about spraying the buds even thou mold is much worse than bud rot but since they are so small it shouldnt bother them. Ima get some of that shultchz 3n1 and give all the plants a good spray down just for good measure.

couldnt find the schultz so i picked up some bonide rose rx 3n1 "for organic gardening" neem oil rtu. Thats what it says on the label. Im wondering about this stuff draining into my table and geting in my res will this kill my plants?

If you can afford it, get a sulfur burner. I havent had to battle pm, so i cant really help you there. Try to lower humidity as stated above. Also the PM is in your plant, dont take any clones from them. It starts showing on the leaf after its already inside the plant (cell wise)

These plants are in flowering so I wouldnt be taking any clones from them. I am working on the humidity as we speak but atm my main concern is the funacide i sprayed geting into my res (which it is) and weather or not its going to affect my plants or will it be safe?

Cancel the sulphur burner, overlooked that you were in flower. What funicide? You can normally google the ingredients on fungicides, (fungicide name) MSDS, with the MSDS. Material Safety Data Sheet. It should tell you what it is ad how toxic

its been 3 hours since i sprayed this on my plants and it has evaporated almost 99% and i dont see any white on my leafs but i guess ill have to give it time. also got my dehumidifier half jacked in the tent. its in the dorr way with one side ziped and the other half zipped around it if it works ill have to fix something up to keep the cat out

you really have to inspect your buds thoroughly i had that on my last grow. shit was impossibble to get rid of i used neem and all kinds of other products and just when i thought it was gone i found more i thought they were thrichomes but i looked at them with a 100x microscope and realized it wasnt i had to throw out my whole harvest.

Yep..Classic Powdery Mildew. Any number of fungicides will do the trick but reducing your RH is key for control. I love how people are under the impression that if they are spraying Neem oil they aren't spraying a "chemical", this is a common myth. Fungicides are notoriously short-lived so repeat applications are often needed for complete control. Waiting 3 hours after treatment wont tell you dick about what level of control you have. Look at new growth to determine efficacy.

As of 5 minuites ago I have my RH down to 50%. ya i figured 3 hours wasnt gonna be a good time frame but it was what was going on. I will continue to look everything over every day and give it another spray in a week or two just for good measure. 1 dusting prolly didnt do the trick but maybe that dusting and lower humidity will do it. I looked at the buds and I cant see it on them it was most on the very bottom leaves but im sure it was everywhere just only visible on the lower leafs.

open the door or what ever to try and get more air in to get your humidity down . check the rest of your plants if its just that one take it out for now and put it someplace ,wouldnt be a bad idea if u could get all plants out and wash down everything in room.try to keep plants spaced if u can for air flow plus it cuts down passing mold from one to another but u may still have spores in air. A ionizer will help getting the spores outta air. Water first thing in morning or at least 5 hours be 4 dark. To control and prevent u can use sesame oil, neem oil, hydrogen peroxide and vinegar theres some more but cant remeber and u gotta figure the mixtures and that shouldnt be too hard. Neem oil wont hurt if it gets in your resovoir will run threw your medium same way as if u had gnats ...GOOD LUCK!!!!

Im runing a flood table so i cant just take one out. It was on a few plants so i just sprayed them all. I covered every inch of everyplant with that stuff. I cut my watering back a bit im runing my lights 9-9 everyday and im watering at 9 am then at 2 pm and then at 7 pm if need be i can cut it back to just say 10 am and 4 pm but i dont wanna starve my plants. The bottle indicates not to spray it on more than every 7 days I dont want to kill my plants. If i see it on them again befor the 7 days ill just spray it cause I cant smoke moldy bud. Ive managed to reduce my humidity 20% today and tomorrow im gonna work on that even more. I think that me flooding at 9 3 9 3 was the cause becasue it was flooding when the lights was off during the last two so hopfully ive made some changes that will be benificial.

O yea btw bulla i like your sig. got me a couple pits although i dont do any breeding.

Pm just poped up on one of my plants too im thinking the dispensery i went to are passing out infected clones because i didnt have troubles my last grow from seed. Ive been using a baking soda, milk, dishsoap, water, and oil mixture to fight it . I hear Pm can be a pain in the ass so try to stay on top of it ..

P.s. Sasha is a beauty lol i love pits too thats my girl in my Avatar
