So I finally flipped my 1st mimosa x orange mother plant after 5 months and a lot of cloning practice. The buds have me drooling with a few weeks to go. Caught the white mold early on the lower part and have been trimming and trying to get rid of it the past 2 weeks. Its been slowly working up the plant and is close to the top. Looking back, I needed to thin out more than every month. I let it get to bushy and now the bottoms gone and the middle is a few beers from hanging. Spaying fungicide since I saw it on everything, slowing it at best. Can I dry the air to kill it? Will the visually uneffected colas mold during/after drying and curing? Would you salvage now or chance it & push closer to the end of the month? Sorry so long, my first post and feel like I left to much out.

Are you meaning powdery mildew ? Or bud rot..
Ive never heard either called white mold..
If its PM move the plant outside and spray with milk mixed with 8x's water and pray it. Youll need to rinse the plant after a day and repeat. Then rinse again.. then rinse again. Making sure no milk stays in the buds..
Bud rot is a whole nutha can of worms..
Ive used proxide on it to slow it.. proxide also works to treat PM..
Stay away from chemical fungicides..
Citric acid is another treatment you can use on molds.. and is very safe during flowering..

If you're correct and mold has started from the bottom and progressed nearly to the top now, what is there to salvage?

Are you certain it's mold? I don't see anything obvious in the pics.
ya I’m certain. Bet i cut 1000 fan leaves the past 2 weeks. Near the buds not so certain in some spots and the furthest up for sure has another 8” to the colas. Better air flow. Thinking 2oz premi buds if i cut now or keep fighting for more

If you remove rot and keep good air flow during dry and get them dry in like 7 days they shouldn't rot more. Find your source. My portable ac had the white mold that turns into budrot on the fan wheel... bet that plant was right by the air intake into your tent getting all the mold pulled right onto it

Edit it does look like pm not rot

Ya the stuff that looks like fuzz. I’ve been spaying growers ally on it almost daily for past few days. Humidity 50 temp mid 70s. Attic is probably 20 and 90. So wet outside lately

I did have ac in there for a few days during heat wave. I did spray it but not nearly enough after trying to learn how to dodge this bullet

If it looks like fuzz not baby powder it's rot. Watch for purple stems leading to colas, those will be full of rot

Yeah that is powdery mildew. You'll never safely get rid of it at this point. If anything you could wash it. Personally, I'd chuck it.

If you are going to grow in that area again you have some work to do.

Nothing wrong with making edibles from PM weed.

Yup.. sorry bro .. pm.. youve been removing leaves for 2 weeks..? And when i did you spray fungicide and what was it? Just curious..
The reason i suggested proxide is because it can kill almost all spores..
You'll to treat your plant with something to slow the spred or even get rid of it.. you'll also during that time need to super douche your grow area..

8/17 1st saw it and cut infected fans and thinned it out a lot and did it yesterday spraying this before and after. Running out of things to cut. Buds aren’t ready time wise but but I could get and oz or 2 now. Was thinking 6sh at the flip.

Cool you used citric acid..
All i can say is keep spraying and keep cleaning your growing area.. dont pull no more leaves..
It will take time but the spray should work..
What should I do with any new areas i see? Spray or remove? I wanna run some more fans but feel like its a bad idea. Thanks for the help

Keep spraying affected areas(the mold spots)and the whole plant.. dont remove the leaves.. if that powdery stuff thats there bothers you, just wipe it off with a treated cloth or paper towel.. keep in mind this will wipe off the trichs in them areas but its that or mold spot.. youll have to rinse the plant heavily to wash off the dead mold .. then repeat the spraying to get the rest of the mold.. when alls said and done, and when its time to harvest, you'll have to wash your buds in proxide water then rinse buds in clean water before drying..

If you are going to grow in that area again, you might want to use Regalia. I went through 2 grows that got infected with pm and that was after a major cleaning including use of an ozone machine. Nothing worked til I used the Regalia, and now it is part of my IPM....and 2 years later, no signs of pm. And I use their Venerate for bugs.

Just spray....fans are a bad idea but won't matter at this point as those spores are all through your home or wherever you grow.
