When oh when

Yestorday they passed a new medical marijuana bill slowing dispencprys and de criminalization of up to 10 grams for people over 18 but it's kinda a 3 strike thing but it's all a step in the right direction lol

It's funny that D.C. would decriminalize when it is the
seat of ALL our hemorrhoids, if the feds would drop
their campaign against MJ the states would not be
afraid to legalize.

Still waiting.... figured I would at least revive a dead thread, if only to try and breath new life into the topic as MD is still dragging its feet on this and if something isnt done to straighten out the mess then it will be worse then the kick off in NY.... The MMCC is a joke and must be full of typical government workers as nothing gets done and when it is done, it is only 1/4 of the way..

Supposedly the say "The preliminary winners of lucrative licenses to grow and process medical marijuana in Maryland will be announced Aug. 15, more than a week after a state commission selects the highest-ranked applications.".... If that really happens, it is still to be seen...http://mmcc.maryland.gov/ Did you already apply for the license?

In NY the applications cost $1,000,000.00 just to get in line then they chose 5 co's for the
whole state, from grow to dispensary. I hope MD doesn't model after NY.
I have most of my family in MD and have been thinking about moving there but I'd be a
patient not supplier.

I do not recall the cost in MD, but the licenses are limited and it is nuts the way they are doing it. The link in my last post explained the fee structure. But it was only in the thousands I believe. MD is probably going to be worse then the NY market at opening as the bone heads running the commission dont have a clue and 50% of the questions asked have gone unanswered.

Not yet, as of right now I don't think there are any grower/suppliers in MD, I believe they purchase out of state.

I will be keeping an eye on this section for more info then. I just want to know about home growing for personal use is all. Do not live there but my mother and brother do and they both have conditions that "should" qualify them for a card whenever that time comes.

Mass. is the place in the East to go, 6 plants per person over 21 no commercial sales for now.
Sales are maybe a year away.

I will keep them posted on that but doubt mom is going to move to Mass lol. TY for the information though as I will be moving next year and need to find a 420 friendly state that is good for home growers.

Check the NORML register of states, they'll have your answer.

Wish they'd just legalize it, were closer though. There's medical dispensaries now, and more infrastructure as far as how to obtain an actual card. $200 is a bit much but I'm working towards getting mine.
