when curing, should the nugs moisture be kept at the "smokable" level?

if the moisture level is at the level it would be when smoking, is this the proper moisture to cure with?

Once your buds are dry enough to smoke smoothly, you cure them and maintain the same level of moisture.

Curing helps re-distribute moisture throughout the bud and allows time for starches to form sugars and get rid of that "green" taste.

Fuck, you're impatient. To answer you're question, I like to dry air my bud until it's dry to the touch. It will continue to release moisture as it cures in jars. I open the jars for a while every day for two weeks, then I open them weekly for another 2-4 weeks.

Good advice CR8z13

Only the smaller buds should be "smokable" when you move them to jars IMHO

thanks newgrowth. so ill just keep them right where they want to be for the smoking the whole time and remoisturize if they get to dry. that sounds good but if anyone thinks they should be more on the crispy dry side while in the jar please let me know, i have heard different responses and i think that greencross poster is out to try and sabotage my learning experiance and tell me bogus stuff sometimes so other opinions are welcome. thanks id smoke it ya if this wasnt the internet!
