ive just found a stealthy space i might be able to grow in, its underneath a windowsil, my walls had been drylined and there is even a power socket there. the hight is only 3 foot (could make it four at a push but would take ages) depth is 1 foot length is nearly 5 foot.

it needs to be smell proof.

your sugestions would be apreciated.

Thanks for your time

Sounds like a great space. Line it with plastic and tape the edges. Seal it up real nice like that, then put up your reflective coating, lights, etc...

I would first, Vacuum that entire area. I would not sheet rock it cause you need all that 1 foot you can get. Think about ventalation. On one side have fans bring in air from the bottom left side, and fans removing air on top right side.

Your going to have to line that sucker with some kind of material. Not sure what to recommend. You might be able to get by with 1/4" sheet rock, paint them white before adding them in. Might be hard to hammer it with that type fo space, but its def. got potential. Just need some creative thinking in building it. Seal that bitch up with speckle and silicon.

Place some kind of water proof tray for the pots on bottom. But before doing this, I would make a disinfectant spray (5-10% Bleach, rest water) and spray the bottom.

that should do it. but I'd still put up a thin wallboard 1/8" painted white just to keep the air in and moisture out or at a minimum. get cfl's or even tubed flouroescents will fit in there, with flouros there is no heat buildup to worry about, you can always switch to cfl's for flowering.

Yes, you could, but flat white is better.

whats the smallest size pots i can get away with? Coke bottles?

Maybe a 5" - 7" in a squeeze.

whats speckle?

I think spackle? A drywall & plaster repair compound.

In that small space a computer case fan would serve best.

Lining with plastic and caulk all seams to make it air tight.

if so is there a reflective one?

Many people use Mylar or similar reflective surface.

You are going to have to find a small carbon scrubber to place in there maybe as part of the exhaust system for inline cleaning. Heat will probably be your biggest concern due to the size constraints.

thanks
I hope that gives you something to think about.

I'd go 2-3 plants and scrog them out at about 1 foot and light it with a 4 foot double fluorescent or some CFLs. where will you ventilate to?

right i made a box to go in a box now, sealed it all up, just need to put a door on it! and get some fans, any ideas for a door and fans? the box is now 1m length 60cm height and 30cm depth, and does anyone have a guide to make a envirolite reflector please?
