Thats an oldschool german cake btw. And we call it cheesecake. The version with lemon slices is new to me for sure!
Mom prepared this cake about once or twice a month. Everybody loved it!
Mom always had cakes for us on sundays.
German Tradition when families meet n eat together on Sundays.
Cake n coffee a few hour after the main meals. Beer and Wine start later.
The modern ones ad weed to the traditional sundays list.

the key lime pie is from the florida keys... its sour, not sweet like cheesecake. made with little key limes from the florida keys.

awesome pie !!!! awesome weed

gotta fellow grower friend coming over this weekend.

got some king tut(old school AK), MTF, Sour Wreck and Ass Cheese for him to sample. he is excited to try them to say the least. as we were texting i mention the malawi gold was about 80% orangish pistils, 20% white. he wants to sample that also, so i take the most finished branch. 4"x2" bud, no shit, from the popcorn area !!!!

i torched 3 tiny bowls and felt the high over 2 dabs i have done this evening. 3 now, lol !!!! anyway, will sample first thing in the morning. the malawi might be real nice. fingers crossed.

btw, @too larry i made some QWISO hash that is damn close to shatter quality. 2 - 20 second washes with frozen buds and ISO.

had about 3/4 oz of popcorn buds from the AC and the AK. probably 65% AC. shit is awesome. so, so tasty. terpenes for sure.

the flowers from the AC are the most couch lock of anything i have going right now. makes me yawn after a bit, lol !!! very nice, still curing it out...

That sounds great. Glad she worked out for you.

I've got at least two AC flowering now. One f1 in the PP patch and one f2 in HG patch. Probably one or two more f2's. I'm leaning towards hitting one of them with some Sleepy Ass Blues Boggle pollen. I was doing the math on that strain last night. It's 1/2 BOG Boggle Gum, 1/4 Blue Shiva X Blue Shark, 1/8 Powernap X Sinmint Cookies and 1/8 Ass Cheese. So if I do cross it with the AC it would be 9/16 AC. Wish I had some Ass Cheese Blues pollen to cross back with AC. I may try for that cross in my Fall/Winter efforts.

I didn't know you played. I have an old acoustic, but I was never very good on it.
i play, not that good, but i know what i am supposed to being doing, lol...

i didn't buy my first until i was 42. played piano for 3 years between 8-11. used to read music and still can, just not efficiently. i read guitar tabs and watch youtube lessons now, lol..

i have 2 acoustics, 2 basses, a les paul custom, a flying V, a PRS copy, a punk sticker guitar, several strat copies and les paul copies. prolly more i am not thinking of right now. i have over a dozen guitars....

the list of the shit i have owned and sold is bigger

have been lucky to play with people better than me and its taught me a bunch. i am still a sloppy player at times. when i practice more, it gets tighter...

great stress relief and love to jam with friends.

was in a cover band briefly. band members got pregnant and moved to 3 different states, but we had fun for a while...

Damn, that is quite a list. I got mine when I was 13, so a few days ago. I played stuff like Fire on the Mountain. By CDB, not the Dead. lol.

My BIL #2 was a rock and roller. When he and Sister moved here from Colorado he was in several local bands. That was when I was 18-20 years old. I spent a lot of time in bars they were playing in.

The practice parties were even better for me. It got to the point there would be 25-30 folks at practice for one of the BIL's bands. His keyboard player came from old money, and his parents had an old house on a lake that they used for practice. Frisbee golf, swimming and a keg of beer while the band practiced. That band blew up due to man/woman issues.

lol, i have had a dozen people at rehearsal. we held it at my house on sundays. neighbors were cool and even stopped by. i brewed beer back then so home brew was readily available. parties got decent for sunday afternoon, lol...

His next band was much better. He had played guitar in all his bands up to that point, but they had a three guys who were all better than he was. So he sang and only played some slide on the blues songs. Whiskey and man/woman issues broke up that band.

i play rhythm... i was surrounded by talent. i think they let me in the band, cuz i had a PA system and a place to rehearse, lol...

our bass player could out play our lead guitar player, but didn't want the spotlight.

the drummer and our bass player were outstanding and lead the band perfectly...

That reminds me of the Robert Earl Keen song. . . . . . . Maybe the worst bluegrass song ever written. . . . . .

i have a video of my band on youtube, but i can't share it here.

met a new guy at the bar the other day that plays. he plays a lot of open mics. wants to get together and jam. we could probably do a half dozen songs pretty quick... just can't sing
