What size bags should i get?

In about to order 20 fabric bags.
Before i do and order the wrong size
What size should i get?

Growing clones under a 1k watt mh
Only going to veg for a week or two I'm thinking

Either soil or coco coir?
Have some experience with soil
None with coco

Going to clone into solo cups transplant into polar pop cups then finish in......
2 or 3 gal?

5 really? I thought that might be too much.
I don't want them anywhere as big as the others i have now
Altho they are clones of the #1 plant

I use these cheap 5 gallon grow bags from Ruth's Tree Farm. I never have root issues. I think the 3 are too small. Run into an issue and need time for a plant to recover and you're glad for the room.

I was tho king about bags
My grow bqck in the day was in bags
I guess I just had it in My head that these fabric pots were better.
The air pruning and it helps with my heavy handed watering when it happens lol

Brother, wait until you have to plant a small grow bag into a bigger one because of roots popping out .

Go big. Not too big but big enough.

Lift your bag off the ground on something that allows air to move under it, also don;t put bags too close together or they won't get dry enough on the edges to air prune properly.
I use those plastic low crates Pepsi came in. Plenty of air flow. Good mention.

Picking up the bag causes it to change shape slightly. In doing so the crossed fibers are supposedly pruning tips. I've never had a root break through but there's pics on here of them.
