never said disabled people were non-productive, in fact, i've said the exact opposite. By non-productive I mean non-productive. I'm not a liberal so I don't speak in code and I'm not politically correct. You don't have to try to read into what I said to find out what I meant.
I've been poor, fortunately I had family I could live with until I straightened myself out. What my family would not allow however, was for me to not have a plan to rectify my situation. Those that don't have the family support I had need help from other avenues, but not in the form of raising the next 4 generations (like our war on poverty has done, think about that, 4th generation welfare, maybe we are doing something wrong). I believe in training programs geared toward someone's interest and ability. I also believe that if those avenues are open to you but you decide to be a leach anyway, we poor salt on you.
I think all law abiding American citizens should have the constitutional right to own and bear guns if they so choose.
Why punish the law abiding citizens for the mistakes of the few?

States run by conservative are more poor than democratically led states. Red states are generally the "takers" everyone complains about. Liberal states have to pay for the poor ignorant conservative states. Welfare is used more often in red states than blue states.
