Wappa & Blue Mystic 652W Medi Grow

Day 42 of Flowering (6 weeks)

Girls are looking as good as they can be I guess. Im pulling off 5 dead leaves from BM daily but the new growth is green, so all the dead foliage is from when they got burnt. Wappa is looking close to start flushing, maybe 2-3 weeks left. BM will go for another 3-4 weeks if it still has leaves by then

Day 49 of Flowering (7 weeks)

Took a sample bud from Wappa yesterday. Set the oven to 225F and the bud was dry after 20 mins. Loaded up .5g and ripped the whole thing on my bong. Oh... My... GOD. I havent been that high in MONTHS. Im talking full body numbing, staring off into eternity, even seeing some slight visuals with my eyes closed (I was in a Wormhole flying through space). FUCKING CRAZY. I'm checking the trichs again tonight but Im planning on harvesting within 2 weeks.

I always thought the blue mystic was a very cool and exotic looking plant. Funny, the Wappa looks alot like the BM lol. Is the BM a knockoff of the Wappa? Drop some knowledge on me brother.

I cant believe the smoke of the Wappa was that good with two weeks left. Sounds like your going to have some real killer weed on your hands when its all harvested.

No, the BM is completely different genetics than Wappa. I wouldnt use this BM as a good example of what is can produce though, as it's been through hell, lol. Im sure the smoke will be great, but the look of the plant just isnt what it should look like healthy and green.

It was nuts man, I felt the whole body buzz not 5 minutes after I exhaled. My wife kept trying to get my attention but I was fixated on this blank spot on the wall. Thats when I closed my eyes and flew threw hyperspace. It looked almost exactly like the wormhole in "Contact" with Jodie Foster. Some intense shit. I took some pipe hits this morning and got buzzed but nothing like that moster hit I took yesterday.

Sounds like you're in store for some excellent dope my man. My God Bud sample that's dried is very stoney already. The high lasted as long as a finished bud. I can't wait to see our friggin indicas finish off this round man.

Beautiful I can't wait to see what the payload is. How much of a sample did you take?

I'd imagine Purple took enough for a joint but not enough to matter

Thanks man, I took a golfball sized nug and it was about 0.7g. VERY sticky and crystally.

Exactly, 2 bowls in a bong. Im kickin' myself man, I know that if I could have kept the leaves green she would have filled out way more than she is now. Oh well, next time

Just looked at the trichs on Wappa. Im seeing 40% amber, 40% clear, 20% cloudy. I'll check the trichs again in a few days but I think Wappa will be getting cut in about 7-10 days.

Trichs on Blue Mystic are 5% amber, 60% cloudy, 45% clear. Will probably let her go 2 more weeks.

Hey man been checkin out your op. Super salty about the loss on vacation live an learn right.. The Wappa looks tasty .. I would try flushing them both every other day to halt that grimy spotting. im looking forward to the final product of the wappa!

Thanks man. I actually did flush both plants when the deficiency showed up, and I havent seen the spotting since then. Been supplementing cal/mag as well which seemed to remedy the situation.

tuned in a few weeks late! but i just read through the whole thread the plants look amazing and that crazy recovery was just mind bogaling. i have some bm seedlings right now that are about 2 weeks. ill stay tuned for the final product on the bm and wappa. wappa is lookin delicious

I did the Blue Mystic in my last grow. What a princess huh? I learned the hard way about her nutrient needs changing dramatically from veg to flower. Definitely no beginner strain, but maybe better suited for soil or organic growing. Outdoors with her would be a completely different grow.

I ran into a slew of Magnesium and Potassium deficiencies during the first 3 weeks of the flowering; from my research it appears pretty much everyone does. Then a little phosphorus shortage will show up during week 3 (but I was slamming PK 13/14 so I managed to sidestep most of that problem), and then back to the magnesium shortage for another 2 weeks. She's really sensitive to temperature fluctuations also, and doesn't do well with heat or high humidity at all. I had root rot set in on one plant, so she's not very mold resistant either. Veg is a breeze with her, she stays short and is very pretty. Flowering is a whole can of worms though. The smoke was great, but not rewarding enough for me to want to grow her again any time soon.

Wappa is in my next grow, with some Sensi Star, Motivation, and Rocklock. These genetics are all "cousins" or more directly related so I figured growing out something closer genetically speaking would be easier when it came to mixing nutrients.

Good looking grow though. You stuck it out with that BM and that's commendable. If the seeds weren't so cheap, or the pictures so appealing, I imagine there'd be far fewer people growing it out. Next time I'm going for some real Blue genetics because if I'm going to learn something hard to grow it's going to need to be a bit more flavorful.

I definitely agree with you on growing out some real genetics next go round. Once I get a bigger grow are, I'm picking up some subcool gear. Goodluck on your Wappa! She is GREAT smoke.
